Three Weeks Later

Bette and Tina were sitting in Dr. Wilson’s office. They would discuss every option they had.

“Okay, can I call you just Bette and Tina or…”

“Call us Bette and Tina, its okay.” Bette said.

“Alright then. So, who is going to carry the child?”

“I would do that.” Bette said.

“Okay, you have two options: or you can search for a sperm donor or we can make Tina’s bone marrow into sperm.”

Both women looked at each other with a puzzled look on their face.

“Wait? Sperm?” Bette asked.

“Yes, it is possible. It costs a lot of money but I’m sure that won’t be a problem.” Dr. Wilson said. Both women smiled.

“Than that seems like the best option.” Bette said.

“Yeah, I think that to.”

“Taking the bone marrow does hurt.” The doctor warned.

“If it means that our child is biologically ours then I will go through pain.” Tina said.

“Okay, then. Let’s see. We can take the bone marrow next Wednesday in the Charing Cross Hospital. Do you have time at 8 o’clock in the morning?”

“Sure.” Bette said. Tina nodded.

“Then it’ll take two weeks to produce the sperm and after that we’ll inseminate you, Bette.”

They talked a little longer about the whole process and then Bette & Tina returned home.

A month later

Bette and Tina were in Dr. Wilson’s office. Bette was lying in the chair with the doctor between her legs. Today she ovulated so it was the time to do the insemination.

“Tina, do you want to inseminate, Bette?” The doctor asked.

Tina nodded and stood next to the doctor. She took the syringe in her hand and injected her sperm into Bette. After that, the doctor put in a conception device to keep the sperm ‘in place’. A few minutes later the couple was sitting at the doc’s desk again. They would come back in six weeks if Bette didn’t have her period. They said bye to the doctor and went home again.

Six weeks later

Bette didn’t have her period so they went to the doctor to check if the insemination had worked. Bette was lying down again and the doctor was taking an ultrasound.
