“Congratulations, you are pregnant.” The doctor said to Bette. Both women smiled. Tina leaned down and kissed Bette on the lips. “It looks healthy and has the normal size. Its 1/8 inch and it weighs less than a gram right now.”

The doctor prints a photo and gives it to the soon-to-be-parents. She whips the jelly of Bette’s belly and they sit at the desk again.

“In about 5 weeks we can determine the baby’s gender with the newest technology. If you want to know of course.” The doctor says.

“I don’t know. It would be nice to have a surprise.” Bette said.

“Yeah, I think the same.”

“Well, you still have to come back to have a check-up every 6 weeks.” The doctor tells them.

“Okay, we will.” Tina said.

A few minutes later, they were driving home.

“God, we are really going to be parents.” Bette says and kisses Tina.

“Yeah, we are, of a little baby boy or girl.” Tina says.

“I can’t wait and it’s still about 34 weeks. To long for my liking.” Bette said.

“I can’t wait to pamper you.” Tina says and kisses Bette again.

“When are we going to tell our parents and friends?” Bette asked.

“Maybe after the next check-up?” Tina suggested.

“Okay, my love. And then we tell the people?” Bette said.

“Sure…” Tina answers.

They just came back from the doctor’s. Their baby was healthy and nothing was wrong. Bette already had a little bump and was glowing. She looked amazing. They were now driving to the palace to tell Tina’s parents that they would be grandparents.

Christiana and Christopher were amazingly happy for them. Bette and Tina had also decided to make Christiana the Godmother of their child and Xander the Godfather. They wanted their kid to have a male and a female one. (That is very common in Belgium and a little bit in England) Christiana accepted to be the Godmother and was very thrilled.

Later that night, Bette had a conversation with Xander on Skype. He also accepted to be Godparent and because he was 16, he was just old enough. Kit was also amazingly happy for them. Melvin got a proud look on his face and told them he would visit when the baby was born. Maxine refused to even come in front of the webcam but Bette had learned to deal with that. Her mother would never change.
