“You know Tina to be honest this is the reason I don’t believe in monogamy. I don’t really think that any one woman can totally ever be enough to satisfy me for the long term. We might want to consider an open relationship like Kelly and Matthew have.”

“What the hell is that supposed to mean? In case you haven’t noticed we’re married and we’re already in it for the long term or at least that is what you said you wanted. Are you now telling me that this isn’t what you want? An open relationship might work for Matt and Kelly but that is one thing I won’t tolerate Jodi. If I find out that you are cheating on me we’re through.”

“Baby relax. Please don’t get upset. That’s not what I’m saying. I love you. You are the only woman I want. Come here.”

With that Jodi starts to kiss Tina. Tina is still a bit pissed off at Jodi’s words but she really didn’t want to argue. She was hoping that having the talk would bring them closer but it seemed to have the opposite effect. She didn’t want to lose Jodi or have another failed relationship so she relented.

“You would tell me wouldn’t you?”

“Relax honey. You worry too much. We’re fine. I love you.”

“Here she comes.”

Kelly steps out of the small chartered aircraft that landed on the private airstrip of the Eden estate where they were staying while in Australia. Tina greets Kelly with a warm hug and kiss on the cheek.

“Hello Darling”

“Hello Tina.”

“I’m so glad you’re here. How was your trip?”

“Interminable.”

Jodi joins them and gives Kelly a hug and kiss on the cheek that lands close to the corner of her mouth.

“Hello Kelly.”

“Hello Jodi.”

“Welcome to Eden.”

“Thank you.”

All three walk together hugging each other around the waist with Kelly between them. One of the helpers takes Kelly’s luggage to the guest bedroom. Tina follows Kelly to her room and they chat while Kelly unpacks the few items that she’ll need for the short stay.

“You’ll never guess what we’re doing day after tomorrow?”

“What?”

“We’re going on a crocodile hunt. Jodi’s arranging it.”
