Tina was having a conversation with the guide. She was indicating the three crocodiles that they’d caught during the hunt the previous night. The plan was to spend the entire day and camp out for one more night before returning to Eden the following morning.

“You think these are big? They are babies compared to the one I’ve been trying to catch for the last couple of years. He’s always giving me the slip. Has a price on his head. It’s rumored he’s killed four people already.”

“Joe you’re giving me the creeps.”

“You’ll be alright Mrs. Lerner. Out here you got no worries.”

Jodi snuck up on Tina and hugged her around the shoulders. Tina jumped startled at the unexpected contact then she relaxed in her wife’s embrace.

“No she hasn’t.” Jodi said ”I’ll be there.”

“Darling please let’s not kill anymore.”

“No we won’t. Listen there’s going to be a gorgeous sunset. Why don’t we take the boat out? You can get some great photographs. You’re going to love it. We’ll take Kelly with us.”

“She’s asleep in the tent.”

“Well I’ll just go wake her up. Come on get your stuff. We set sail in ten minutes.”

“I’m not too keen on you taking off by yourselves. I’ll send one of my men with you. It’s already late and it’ll be dark in an hour.”

“We’ll be fine on our own Joe. Kelly has as much experience handling the boat as one of your men. We won’t go far and we’ll be careful I promise. I just want to take my girl where she can get a better look at the sunset. Where’s your sense of romance?”

“Fine but take a rifle and send up a flare if you get in trouble. Be sure to be back before dark.”

Jodi was already making her way to Kelly’s tent. Once again she woke her with a kiss. She was getting bolder with kissing Kelly on the mouth even in front of Tina but this kiss could not be mistaken as a peck between friends no matter how blind Tina pretended to be about the growing affection between her wife and best friend.

“Come on baby get up. I want to show you a sunset.”
