    Fantasy Challenge #4 – Don’t worry, TiBetters, it’s safe :D:D.

    Helena could see them clearly, Bette and Tina. Once again, her face became a tight mask of frustration. ‘Look at them being all nice and civilised with each other. What are they doing anyway?’ Helena got her little one-eye binocular. ‘Oh bloody hell, you’ve got to be kidding me… a birth tank?’

    Helena saw the happy almost-couple hugging and had to restrain herself from throwing something through the window. How could they have been so blind? The dark side had always been somewhat surprised at how little energy their adversaries had put into protecting The Child. They had to know about the Prophecies… Whichever side got to raise The Child would rule the world forever. However, when Helena sat there behind her little shrub staring at the face of Bette Porter she knew what a terrible mistake they had made. The good side had not wasted twelve centuries. They had chosen a completely different approach. The creatures of light had been experimenting with a weapon so powerful that everything else paled in comparison. It was only now that the dark forces realized that this weapon had been hidden in plain view and perfected over the centuries. It was a weapon they knew the dark side would never understand the significance of until it was to late… True love.

    See could see it now. Tristan and Isolde, Romeo and Juliet, nothing but lab rats. Those were the failed experiments, of course. And how very slyly had the good side been planting their true love seeds in everyone’s brains. Especially in this era of technology, we are surrounded everywhere by internet dating sites and romantic comedies. The humiliation could not have been greater. The dark forces had almost been defeated by rom coms.

    Millions of concepts had been tested. Some forty years ago all these centuries of expertise had been brought together to ensure that the innocence of The Child would not be tampered with. They had been brought together in the form of an attractive mocha-skinned brunette named Elizabeth Porter. The woman Helena was now looking at had been created as the true love of The Child’s mother. There had been hope on the dark side that the bigotry and discrimination still present in society would serve to keep the lovers apart. That’s why they had installed the monkey man and his tunnel vision in the White House. But what a poor attempt it had been to keep true love apart. The destined couple had found each other and had been together ever since.

    7. Absolutely genius! Helena in a catsuit is a great image! Dark forces almost defeated by RomComs – fantastic! Loved the dig at monkey man in the white house, Alice bitchslapping Hellno, overreacting to constructive criticism and finally Ilene Chaiken being used for ridiculously out of character changes. Just marvellous. Brought a huge grin to my face – and boy did I need it! Thanks for your wondeful take on this challenge. Don’t forget about your other writing though!

    17. I was not going to read this because it was about Helena but I used my heart and read it. Plus I like you other story too much to skip your writings. Those damn dark people. They have gone and f***ed with our Tina. But with you abilities to turn Helena to the good side please go out and plant that huge seed of love back into Tina’s heart. You know the one, the one with Bette’s name painted all over it. Have that seed grow very quickly (like with Helena) so that we could have our couple back. But I fear that the dark side is working against Bette with MM showing up and planting her seed into Bette’s heart. Who will win out MM or Tina? Please let it be Tina and the love child!!!!
