    “Tina. I don’t know. I don’t know what to do either. I just know that I lo…” Bette stops as the door breaks open and Tina’s entourage crashes through. She stands up quickly and takes a step back. Tina’s eyes are locked on Bette, wondering what her next words were going to be, hoping desperately

    “Tina. I don’t know. I don’t know what to do either. I just know that I lo…” Bette stops as the door breaks open and Tina’s entourage crashes through. She stands up quickly and takes a step back. Tina’s eyes are locked on Bette, wondering what her next words were going to be, hoping desperately it’s the words she wants to hear the most. She swallows loudly. Her heart swells and her pulse quickens.

    “Tina. Captain Cutie said you were done.” Alice marches up to the blonde. She eyes Bette up and down with an approving smile.

    “Bette Porter, this is Alice, Dana and Shane, you’ve already met Helena.” Tina makes the introductions with no enthusiasm. She curses her friends’ untimely arrival.

    “Hello ladies.” Bette stands and shakes everyone’s hands. She studies each one and can’t help but admire their designer clothes and expensive shoes. Their nails are well manicured, their hair in the latest styles, their skins so soft looking and absolutely flawless. She feels suddenly awkward in her dirty clothes and combat boots. They all can’t stop staring at her.

    “I think you’re Wonder Woman, Xena, Tina Fey and Indiana Jones all mixed into one.” Alice says out loud. Bette arches her eyebrows in confusion. Tina rolls her eyes at her crazy, tactless friend.

    “It was nice meeting all of you. But I am dying for a shower and a stiff drink.” Bette smiles at the room, grabbing her bottle and retreating quickly. She’s feeling very out of place. She doesn’t belong with them, not anymore. Long gone are the days of glamour and high fashion, at least where she’s concerned. And she’s not sure she wants to go back. Tina, on the other hand, is the epitome of a Hollywood starlet. She lives and loves the glamorous Hollywood lifestyle where fashion and perfection go hand and hand. Could she and Tina really be happy together? They’re from two different worlds. So many things to consider and most importantly what would Bette do if she returned to Los Angeles with Tina? Would Tina find her dull and unworthy after the newness ends? The walls feel like they’re closing in on her. She gives Tina a longing look before rushing out the door.

    “Bette! Wait!” Tina shouts. She tries to run after her but is held back by Helena.

      Enjoyed this post thank you. Thought at one time you were going to slip in ‘It was all a dream’ but thank goodness you didn’t! Bette falling asleep – unbelievable but so in character.

    2. Great update LP! I was a little worried when the NC-17 didn’t really appear until page 7 – really the last page? Loved it how Tina had to wake up Bette but such a sweet moment. Interesting future for how they will find a way to stay together. PPS!

      Poor Helena, so in love with Tina and she will never have a chance with her. But come on, who can ever resist a cocky and annoying breath taking pilot like our Bette.

      Helena does not stand a chance in hell with Tina and she is not going to be happy about it at all.

Loving it and you post two times in one week sigh I can rest easily now until next chapter..but I love this, I’m also wondering whats going to happen next…first I think tina should introduce Bette to her friends as her lover and then I think they should stay on the island instead of going back to la..I like pirate Bette and stranded Tina..they funny lol
