“Are you getting out?” Bette asks quietly, her mind racing. She needs to take action soon.
“No. I’m going to sit here until we get rescued.” Tina is adamant, fear and frustration still coursing thru her. She hasn’t even released her seatbelt.
“No one’s coming for us.” Bette drops her voice.
“What? Why the hell not?”
“Normally, people travel to the island by party boat. You were special. Your friend wanted you on the island ASAP. The boat doesn’t pass through here. They take the route to the South. Also, the airport in Costa Rica is to the North and their planes fly strictly to and from the States.”
“Why did WE come this way?”
“Because my PLANE is the only plane allowed to fly to the island and it’s still faster than any party boat.”
“Oh.” Tina’s voice is almost a whisper. Her heart starts pounding again as her fear resurfaces and begins to take over. “So what are we going to do?” She looks at Bette, hoping the pilot will have an answer to her liking.
“I think we should leave. Take our chances hiking across. Should take us about two days.”
“I can’t do that. There must be another way.”
Bette hands her a small black device with metal wires hanging out. The plastic is melted and parts of it is still smoking. The contorted object has one indicator and it too seems to have been burnt out. Tina studies it, having no idea what it could be. She meets the pilot’s eyes, waiting for an explanation.
“I think the plane was sabotaged. We might be in danger if we sit here.” Bette speaks calmly, not wanting to scare the blonde further. She takes back the device and gives it another look. Her lips are pursed in thought. She knows every detail of her plane like the back of her hand. She’s pretty damn sure the object is a new and recent addition and it’s the only explanation for the complete power failure. How it got there and why, is driving her crazy. But she just can’t think about that now. They need to leave the plane and start for the resort. The island should provide them with some shelter. But from what, she asks to herself. She shakes her head to stop the scary thoughts from taking control.

Oh now this is hilarious and very interesting, who the hell is trying to kill either one of them? I ready to see what kind of adventures they’re gonna go through while hiking to the island, I know there probably be some arguments but I can see love developing over the course of the two days..ok im thinking ahead, let me just enjoy this story, can’t wait for the next update please dont wait days lol

but something deeper is formed between them, both to respond for another in such a way that even before anyone :)

It is so cute to see Bette protective of Tina and Tina feeling safe with Bette. Adding intrigue to this story has just heightened the tension.
