“Where’s Jenny?”

“I left her there—I couldn’t stay there any longer.” She looked at Moira.

“Why don’t you get yourself out of those clothes and take a shower? I’ll be around the house if you need anything.”

“Thank you Moira,” Moira smiled and got up from the couch.

“Are you afraid that Helena might take Dylan back?” Bette looked at her sister.

“I know that Helena will make the right choice. If she loves me then she’ll stay with me, but if she still has feelings for Dylan and decided that she wants to be with her, I wouldn’t have a problem with it.” Sonja took a drink of her tea. “Oh—who the hell am I fooling? I would be fucking furious if she chooses Dylan. I love her Bette. She’s an amazing woman, and I love being with her. I don’t know what I will do if she goes back to Dylan.” Bette reached over and grabbed Sonja’s hand.

“Listen to me—I’ve been through a lot of heartache, and I know what it feels like. If she does choose Dylan—you’ll have to take each day one day at a time. It’ll hurt a lot at first, but you’ll be able to move on.”

“That’s it—that’s all the advice that you can give me.” Bette let go of Sonja’s hand.

“That’s all I wanted to give you—you need to learn on your own. You’re still young.” Sonja shook her head.

“So how did you take it with Tina?”

“How did I take what?”

Sonja laughed softly. “Don’t play dumb Bette—how do you take it with Tina fucking another woman?”

“I don’t think that’s any of your business what-so-ever. So watch what you say to me.” Bette got up from the table and walked out of the Planet. Sonja sighed heavily and raked her fingers through her hair. Kit walked over to the table and rested her hand on the back of Sonja’s chair.

“What was that all about?”

“It was nothing really—Bette couldn’t take what I was saying. So she got up from the table and left.”

“Just remember that you both are sisters, and you both don’t need to be fighting because you’ll have me to deal with.” Kit patted Sonja on the shoulder and walked away.
