Chapter 314
Narration of President Bette Kennard Porter
　
“Do you want some more coffee Bette ?”
“I haven’t touched the one I have – is there any more juice for Ella – she has drained her juice already”
Tina chuckled and gets some more orange squash for Ella who is sitting on my knees having her breakfast.
“What are you doing today ?”
“I don’t know – depends I guess. I told Paul to have an extra day off so Ella and I will be spending the day together. It’s a shame its so cold or I could have taken her for a walk. The weather is a bit different to the Caymans “
“Just by 20 degrees or so “
Tina kisses me and Ella “It was just the best holiday”
“It was – this one had a great time “
“We all did- I feel just wonderful “
“You look really well -as long as your staff don’t decide to drag you down”
“They won’t – but I am sure that not being able to annoy me has really been bothering the likes of JJ and Alice”
Tina sits down and eats a few grapes “When are you going to talk to Alice and Shane ?”
“Depends on what they are doing and how much I have to catch up on. Kit is coming to see me when she gets in. I want her to agree to be your Chief of Staff – I will do the other stuff as and when I get the chance. I am seeing CJ for a couple of hours on Wednesday to go through my nominations “
“Are you going to tell the staff ?”
“No – they can meet them when I am ready and not before. “
Tina smiles “Its good to see you in charge “
“Its good to be in charge – the holiday was just wonderful and there were so many moments that I will always treasure but its good to be back and in charge “
Tina strokes Ella’s hair as our daughter chews on some toast with jam on – the jam is mainly all over her face.
“How are you feeling ?” I ask her – she does look wonderful. Her hair is much lighter than usual – bleached by the sun. The holiday has really helped her so much, its cemented our relationship and we have been able to talk about every subject under the sun. Tina smiles

Hey Rocky! Thanks for posting!! Lol… Yup you are right that you are the one who keeps Ally’s bed warm not that Bette lady-though I believe she might have another idea on this :-p ha3… So will you nicely wake Ally up to write more and keep posting updates for us!? ;-) thanks little one :-)

Thanks for posting this one Rocky and AllyE. Great update. It’s great that Kit will be Tina’s chief of staff, they will make a great duo and Tina will be able to solidify her place within the party which can only be good for future endeavors, Gov, Senator, President. Looks as though we will still be reading LWing for some time to come which is AWESOME. Thanks again for posting.

Now listen to me, little kitty cat, Ally is the big cheese. She writes the awesome stories. I’ll accept the idea that you may be her muse. Do you know what a muse is? You are her cute, faithful assistant. Keep her happy and purring so she writes more of her wonderful stories such as this one. ;-)
