    Tina is caught, Shane makes her move, Bette’s getting honest, Alice is her lovely neurotic self. Jenny is thankfully absent.

    “Nik works” said Al at long last

    “And feel free to call me Al, if that’s what you’re into”

     

    Nik managed a laugh before pouncing on her coffee to stop her mouth from spilling out any more shit

    “So, Al, what do you do?”

     

    “I’m a writer” nodded Alice- before stopping herself, realising it was contagious and deciding to forgive Nik’s penchant for it.

     

    “Wow” she replied, her nervousness ebbing away

    “Books? Newspapers?”

     

    “Newspapers…” Alice paused unsure whether to elaborate, before jumping straight in

    “Well I’ve moved on to blogging now- pod casts and all that jazz”

     

    “Technology freak?” smirked Nik, as her discomfort wore off entirely

     

    “I wouldn’t say that exactly, it’s just that it’s the most efficient way to get to the people these days” Al replied almost defensively

     

    “Oh yeah, sure” laughed Nik taking another sip of her long black

    “And you like people knowing who you are right?”

     

    “Excuse me?” came the indignant reply- no; Alice was not liking this girl at all; Dana my foot she thought to herself.

     

    “So that’s a no?”

     

    “Yes, it’s a no”

     

    “Doesn’t help you getting into clubs or anything like that?”

     

    “Well yeah… But I never had any trouble”

     

    “Oh… Okay” grinned Nik, rearranging herself into a cross legged position.

     

    “So what do you do anyway?” jeered Alice

     

    “I’m a diving instructor”

     

    “Really?”

     

    “Yeah really… Water baby”

     

    “Oh yeah the Australian thing” dismissed Alice, looking around hoping a rescue boat was coming

     

    But Nik just laughed

    “That’s right”

     

    Alice glanced at her again- she was fucking beautiful, big brown eyes, and dark hair, perfectly tanned… A small ball rose in Alice’s throat as the physically likeness to Dana was invoked once again

    “I think I’ll call you Niki” smiled Alice over her coffee

     

    “I don’t recall giving you my number,” quipped the Australian and the do had their first laugh.

     

    “I like that” Al replied after their shared digression into laughter

     

    “Well, it was there” winked Niki

    “But I should probably get going”

     

    “It was nice meeting you” nodded Alice, slapping her thigh as Nik got up and stepped away.

    2. its so much fun- so its easy!!She’s just got her body type… will go into physical appearance a bit more next time- might pop a bit of action in there too ;) still laughing at alice’s nipple confidence comment– love it when u can tie in something from 1st season like that.thanks for the continued support.
