As she neared the door Annika suddenly turned around and walked back from the table

“I remember! It was-“

Alice interrupted her with a pointed finger

“Last night”

Nik laughed

“You knew”

“Yes sir I did” replied a now uncomfortable Alice

“Alright well I’m really going now”

“Bye”

Alice was left with a sick feeling in her stomach, did they all know? Was her stalking nature apparent for the world to see? Luckily she wasn’t left alone with these thoughts for too long as Bette had finished talking to Kit and now that Annika had left felt ready to join Alice for a morning coffee.

Tina had considered calling in sick that morning, the night before had completely robbed her of any chance that she and Alex might have a normal working relationship and the first meeting was guaranteed to be beyond horrible. But after a long fifteen minutes of thinking it over in bed, she’d managed to get herself ready and was currently driving into the back lot.

“Damn” the blonde muttered as she recognised Alexandra’s black Lexus and realised the only space left was next to it.

Pulling her sunglasses down and grabbing her briefcase Tina prepared herself with the image of success before stepping out of the car and making her way to her office. Unfortunately Lex was stealing a secret ciggie at the entrance and greeted Tina with a smile

“My one vice” she explained with a dramatic eye roll.

“Well if it’s only one” smiled Tina uncomfortably, aware that she was sounding sincerely dawky.

Alex laughed softly and stubbed it out

“Eve hate’s it so have to get my quota up during the day”

“God you sound just like Bette when we started dating” Tina rolled her eyes, and then was taken a back by the fact that even she was drawing similarities

“You dated Bette?”

“Didn’t I mention that?” asked Tina a little put out by her own discretion, forcing her eyes to the ground

“Yeah she’s the other mother of my baby”

Lex frowned with a touch of confusion

“Oh really?”

“Yeah”

“So you were…. Married?”
