“Morning Bette”

“Morning T, thanks for the coffee”

“your welcome” Tina silently thought thanks for the view.

Bette got out from the chair bending over she touched her toes to try and loosen her back up, she then lifted each leg one at a time.  Once she’d done this she walked over to Angelica bending down she kissed her forehead and said “Morning Angie, is today the day that your going to wake up?”

Tina watched Bette with tenderness in her eyes, whenever she heard Bette talking to Angie she thought her heart would bust.  All she wanted was her family back together was it to much to ask.  She knew that she had hurt Bette deeply by having a relationship with Henry and then to rub salt in the wound threatening to take Angie away, but she was angry at the time with Bette trying to get sole custody of their daughter. 

She was sorry now but what good was that going to do, if she could turn the clock back she would and correct it all.  First by talking to Bette about how she was feeling when Angie was born and then about the feelings that she was having about men.  But how could she when she didn’t even know the reason why she was having those feelings. 

Sat there lost in thought it suddenly struck her that although she loved Bette, at the time because she’d had a child she was scared that society would treat her daughter differently and she did what she thought was best for her daughter and not necessarily what was right for herself.  So what had changed now why did she not care what society thought she came up with the answer quickly because she loved Bette, if she had to she would lay her life on the line to save Bette it was just that simple.

Bette kept glancing at Tina, she could see that she was deep in thought about something but she didn’t know what, she hoped that it was about her but what right did she have to be thinking like this, she was with Jodi.  Why did she keep hoping that Tina was thinking about her and why did she feel disappointed this morning and every morning that Tina was up first, they had both moved on hadn’t they? They were just friends now weren’t they?.
