The Teacher [2]
The next morning, Tina woke up with a huge headache. For a second, she didn’t remember where she was, but when she sat down and saw her messed-up make-up in the mirror, she already knew it. Sometimes she was so sad she would wish to not wake up, but unfortunately, it never happened.
She wiped the mascara off of her tired eyes, splashed some water over her face, and put on some jeans and a simple T-shirt.
She looked down on her time-table and immediately had to puke when she saw the words ‘biology’ on the piece of paper. She walked down the stairs with her schoolbag and a bad feeling in her stomach, when she suddenly heard her dad yelling again.
‘I know that we don’t have enough money! But that isn’t only my fault!’
She stopped for a while, sat down the stairs, so she could listen to the conversation.
‘But Richard, you got fired, and I can’t get a job because I have to take care of Tina, I can’t take it anymore!’
‘Why is is always that when something goes wrong, people never take the responsibity, and admit they’re wrong?!’
‘What do you mean?’
‘Have you seen your daughters last grades?’
‘She can’t do a thing about it! You know how some teachers are at her school!’
‘Yea, and that’s why you should have listened to me when I said you shouldn’t have let her go to THAT school!’
‘It was the cheapest school we could find! We don’t have money!’
Tina had heard this types of conversations too often and she already knew how this was going to end. Just when she decided to walk into the room, her dad saw her, and the blonde saw it in his eyes. He knew that she had been listening to the conversation all the time.
‘What the fuck are you doing there miss Kennard?’
‘I-I..’m sorry,’ Tina stumbled, while she tried to walk out of the room
Her dad grabbed her roughly by the arm and looked her straight in the eye. She saw his angriness, and she’d smell that he had been drinking.
‘What did you hear?’
‘I-I-.. heard n-nothing dad’ she managed to say
‘I don’t believe you, you’re a liar’

They both will have a hard row to hoe,but it will be better that being abuse. thanks
Just one look at Tina’s face ought to tell someone that she is in physical trouble from someone. Please fix this.
Domestic violence and alcohol don’t mixe well. Poor Tina. Surely something can be done about that as Tina as a child has been abuse. Can’t wait to see where you are going with this and when Bette will come into this. Great story. PPVS
Keep the chapters coming, you are doing a good job, really:)
Yeah but Patti, I could see Shit, er Smit, blaming Tina somehow for walking into class with a busted face.
