A few hours more yet the storm was still nonstop. She thought about Bette and wanted to call her to ask if she was okay but she couldn’t since the communication was also down. She knew she couldn’t do anything at the time but to wait. She closed her tired eyes and hugged her body, the air was really cold and even if she was wearing a jacket it wasn’t enough to keep her warm. She hoped Bette was there embracing her and caressing her. But the brunette might be at her home sleeping already and after the fight that they had yesterday because of her jealousy over the brunette’s ex she thought Bette would not even bother to go there. The blonde took a deep breath and told herself that she needed to work on her jealousy and insecurities if she wanted to keep Bette otherwise she would just push her away.

Suddenly the security called her attention; she opened her eyes and saw Bette entering the lobby wearing a slicker. She didn’t know if it was because she was so tired at the time or because her stomach was empty that what she was seeing was just a pigment of her imagination, everything turned into slow motion.

Bette had been so worried when she learned thru Tina’s friend and colleague Adrienne Spencer that the blonde decided to stay at the office to finish some works and so even if she had been hearing negative news in the radio that didn’t stop her from going to her girlfriend. She was so relieved when she saw the blonde sitting alone in the lounge area. She removed the raincoat and walked towards the surprised blonde.

Tina was roused from her reverie when she felt a pair of soft and warm hands cupping her face

“Are you okay Tee?” the brunette said her voice soft

She felt hot tears running down her cheeks; she didn’t expect that Bette would go to the extent of endangering herself just to come to her

“Baby, are you alright?” Bette asked again

At that time she felt so loved and cherished, the kind of feeling that she had never ever felt before

“You came…” the blonde said

“Yes I’m here, only for you Tee…”
