Triangles – Love in Triplicate -Chap 4 ~BluJewel~
At Marina’s
Jenny continued to stew as she watched Marina and Tim’s interaction. Oh, how she’d underestimated him. Tim was playing on all of Marina’s weaknesses. He’d picked up on her queues and orchestrated the finest symphony as he played her instruments to the perfect cord. Mozart had nothing on him! He’d led her into the most intense notes by simply listening. It was something Francesca rarely did. She barked commands, made demands, and expected Marina to cater to her every whim. Jenny was too caught up in her own Marina melody to hear anything but the sound of her voice. And it was this that caused her the most angst. Her jealously was fueled by Tim doing the one she was incapable of doing — Listening.
“So, tell me Marina,” Tim cooed. “What is it that you you’re missing at home? What is it that you desire most?” Tim stroked her arm delicately.
Marina sipped her wine and paused to think. Tim had her spellbound. Caught in the rhapsody of his voice, his presence, out of her usual jurisdiction, captured her. She loved attention. Hell she craved it. And here it was, all the things she wanted and needed, in a pretty package, but coming from a man. This reality threw her. Was she really up for this challenge?
“You know I’ve never really thought of it Tim,” Marina confessed. Tim looked at her with sad eyes. “It’s true. I’m used to giving in. Used to accepting and settling. So, to combat that, I prowl. Do things my way, to get things my,” Marina looked away. She felt vulnerable and searched the air for a distraction.
Inside Jenny fought to keep her jealousy at bay, but her blue eyes where now green and all she could see was Tim as the enemy. She’d temporarily forgotten that Tim had agreed to something that most men would have run from. Not that they weren’t into threesomes, but because Marina was one hell of a contender. She packed a mean punch; issuing a TKO with her presence alone. Jenny knew it well. She continued to watch the interaction.
“Seems like you two aren’t fighting anymore,” Jenny announced, as she sauntered out to the patio. Tim and Marina smiled at her and then at each other. “Should I be worried? You know they say, there’s always a calm before the storm,” Jenny tried to drive a point home. Marina took the bait while Tim grinned seeing how Jenny played into his hand.

Interesting to say the least. Very interesting. I Figured tim would have pulled out the cork screw and stabbed Marina with it
