    Author Notes:

    “Are you ok T?” – Bette.
    “Oh Bette …”

     

    Tina tried to pull away from him, but he was now holding her by both of her arms.  “No John, you got yourself fired by showing up drunk.  And all you’re doing now is making things worse.”  Tina could tell that he was drunker now than when he came to work earlier.  She started worrying about how she was going to get away from, if she was going to get away from him. 

     

    “Shut up!” he screamed at her.  He pushed her back and pinned her against her car.

     

    The look in his eyes scared Tina even more so she tried to reason with him.  She realized that she needed to try her best to calm him down and reason with him.  “Look John, why don’t you let go of me and we’ll go back inside and talk to the boss, see what we can do.” 

     

    “No, it’s too late for that!  What am I supposed to do now?  I have a family to support” he was still ranting and squeezing her arms tighter.  Tina looked around and saw no one else in the parking lot.  She began to get even more scared.

     

    “Calm down John.  It will be ok.  I’m sure you’ll find something, I’ll even help you.”

     

    “No, this is all your fault.  I had to pay my consequences, now you have to pay yours.”

     

    He grabbed the front of her shirt and ripped it open.  John Roberts drew back his fist and Tina tried to brace herself for the blow she knew was coming. 

     

    As John let his fist fly forward, it was caught and stopped by another arm.  Tina watched as John’s arm was twisted around and he was on his knees on the ground.  Bette stood there, holding his arm in an arm bar hold.  “Are you ok T?”

     

    Tina never felt so much relief, she nodded yes.  She stood there watching Bette with John.  “I ought to break your fuckin’ arm” Bette said as she applied more pressure causing him to groan.  Bette wanted to kill him for what he had done to Tina.  She knew that she had to restrain herself from injuring him, at least very badly.  She kept applying more and more pressure to his arm until he screamed.  She realized that she was acting out of pure emotion, she needed to back off.  She eased the pressure slightly, but still wanted to him to know she meant business.

    1. That was definitely an “OH SHIT!” moment. Learning some self-defense moves is never a bad idea, even really basic ones since in a real situation there’s no time to get fancy.

    3. IM glad the young JEDI is alright.but thats true bette doesnt live in the same town as tina.butt i have a feeling it might be CRAZY but bette will be moving very soon.please post soon. love this story and the humor parts

    4. Thank god Bette paid that surprise visit or the visit would have taken place at the hospital or morgue. Bette taught Tina some defensive moves next will be some lovin’ moves. I wonder who will have the moving truck packed up and moving to a new town.

    8. Great post with drama, that wasn’t what I expeceted when I saw the lines “Are you ok T?” “Oh Bette …” LOL, but it was great, Bette is a real hero and she can save me anytime LOL. Post soon and sorry to hear how work has been crazy.

    10. Glad that super Bette was near Tina’s job! and she kicked some ass! but if true she won’t be there all the time and Tina must to learn some self-defense moves but too to never be alone specially if is too late! very good chapter.

    12. even though is was sad and scary, im just still stuck on the part where Tina was sitting between Bette and Jennifer, lol im enjoying this to much hahahaha
