When New and Old Collide: Chapter 3

Tina: Ok, well I love ya; and I will see you tomorrow morning. (Thinking) What the ***** was that ya I hope Jaime didnt catch that.

Jaime: Oh, ok. She really thought Tina would either want to leave with her or at least come over tonight after she left Milk.

Jaime was leaving and on her way out a beautiful brunette walked through the doors. Jaime did a double take she could swear she new her but where from?

Bette Porter had been doing amazingly in the art world. She was a very prestigious gallery owner, and was known all along the east coast and most of the west coast as the person to go to, to find the most new and cutting edge art. Bettes personal life however, lacked in the illustriousness of her career. She lived in a beautiful apartment; and drove the nicest cars. She had the hottest girlfriends and the best clothes, yet something was always missing. Home. Bette would have given up anything to go back home.

Peggy Peabody had called Bette and had asked her if she would meet her out in L.A. because she had a proposition for her. Bette knew that whatever Peggy had in mind will most likely further her career, so of course she said yes.

While Bette was getting ready for her flight she was wondering if she should call Kit and at least let her know that she would be in town for a week. At the last minute she decided that if Kit found out that she had been in L.A. and had not called her, she would never here the end of it. So Bette called Kit but only got the answer machine at her apartment and voicemail at The Planet.

Bette: Hey Kit, its Bette. I was just calling to let you know that I will be in L.A. for some business and maybe we could get together for lunch or dinner. Umm, ok anyways please do not tell any of the girls I will be there. I might call them once I get there, but I am not sure yet. I love you and I will see you later.
