Mr. Morales:"Oh no Carmen never told me! Now with her living in the apartment most of the time the distance between us seems to be increasing. Anyway I would be happy if you take care of Carmen! I trust you Shane."

 Shane:"Thank you Mr. Morales this was the reaction I expected from you! that’s what I told Carmen! But she told me not to tell you anything! But I thought she’s probably being shy and may be if I talk to you first then you would understand her better"

 Mr. Morales:"Well this is really kind of you Shane! I appreciate how you are taking Carmen’s well being and comfort into consideration."

 Shane:"I would say I talk to Carmen about this than you! She might get scared about what she’s getting into…you know what I mean…let Carmen come to talk to you"

 Mr. Morales:"Yeah you girls figure it out! Just let me know about the big DATE" 

 Shane:"YESSIR"

 With that Shane walks off to the dining table where Carmen was still having a hard time trying to feed Marco. 

 Shane:"Carmen why don’t you eat and I take care of Mr. Marco here!"

 Carmen:"very smooth McCutcheon"

 Abuela:"I am done with my food! by the way Chane your food was really really good! let me now take care of Marco"

 with that Abuela takes marco to the TV room to try to get him to eat while watching TV.

 Shane suddenly noticed that the receipt from the restaurant was lying on the floor and hoping that nobody saw it, Shane slowly removed that receipt with her feet and hid it under the table. 

 Shane:"Carmen I wanted to talk to you about something"

 Carmen:"What is it Shane! is everything okay?"

 Shane:"Everything’s okay with me! but not with your dad and that’s what I wanted to talk to you about"

 Carmen looks at Shane and nods in understanding. 

 Shane:"Umm….after today’s situation with the sudden asthma attack your dad is kind of afraid about his well being and he wants to see everything settled and in place before you know…."

 Carmen:"what does he wanna settle? I thought that the business was already settled with you here and stuff. "

 Shane:"Well although he seems really into his business! It’s definitely not the only thing he thinks about! He wants to see you settled! He was even asking me if I would be interested in …uhm…you know…single or not"

 Carmen looks surprised and concerned at the same time. 

 Carmen:"What did you say?"

 Shane:"The truth…I mean I said that …I mean its a big responsibility….the whole compan-y.."

 Carmen cut her off…

 Carmen:"What did you say when he asked if you were single"

 Shane:"I would never lie to your dad! So I admitted that I am single…I told him not to force you on settling down or anything…you know! I understand!"

 Carmen:"well that’s really thoughtful of you Shane! Thanks for letting me know! I think I will talk to dad tomorrow"
