    Author Notes:

    Tina: “I have a daughter?”

    Previously 

    "I just want to see her, maybe she will remember."

    "Ok go ahead. I will be back in a little while to disscuss what should happen next"

    Bette slowly opened the door and walked around the curtain. Tina was asleep. She looks perfect to Bette even though she had a bandage over one eye and a sling held her arm.

    Bette pulled a chair over to the bedside and sat there and watch Tina sleep. Tina started to stir about 30 min later. She looked at Bette and was starlted.

    "Hi" Bette said in a soft sweet voice

    "Um Hi" Tina said confused.

    "Tina do you know who I am" Bette now had tears in her eyes.

    "I’m sorry I don’t!"

    Chapter 6

    Bette was stunned. It was the love of her life looking in her eyes and telling her she didn’t know her. How was this possible. She stood up from the chair and walked over to the window. Tears were flowing down her face.

    "You are the woman who identified me aren’t you?" Tina asked putting it all together.

    Bette turned around and nodded. She had no voice to answer.

    Thankfully the doctor came in and gave them some distraction.

    "How are you feeling Ms. Kennard?"

    "I’m fine". Tina was overwhelmed- it felt weird to be called Ms. Kennard, it felt weird to have this woman crying at her bedside. She just couldn’t wrap her brain around any of it.

    "So this is Bette Porter and she is the one who identified you."

    "Yes she was just saying that"

    "Well your injuries are mending well and we think you are going to be able to be discharged today."

    "What?? where am I supposed to go??? I have no idea who I am or where I belong" Tears were threatening Tina’s eyes.

    Bette turned around and saw her love’s eyes filling with tears. She wanted to go to her and hold her and make her feel better just as she had done a thousand times over the past 10+ years.  But she hesitated. She didn’t want to scare Tina. She began to think about Angelica- how was she going to tell Tina she had a daughter?

    "Um Tina…" Bette said not knowing how to say anything to the person she has always been able to say anything to.

    10. Great chapter. Hope Tina seeing Angelica will help jog Tina’s memory because Angie will not know she is to hold back on showing her love for her mother and she shouldn’t have to do so. Maybe if Tina would go back to the master bedroom and sleep there she might have some memories come back. Love it. Thanks for posting.
