    Tina- Would Bette try to kiss her? Would she allow herself to kiss her back??

    "Uh I’m actually not sure- Bette is being very secretive. She just told me to be at the house at 7 and be ready to go in dressy/casual attire."

    "ooo sounds interesting. What are you gonna wear??" alice was getting more and more excited

    "Wow I hadn’t even thought about it yet. I mean I don’t really know what I have in my closet."

    "You have some great clothes so I’m sure you’ll find something great." Shane added her two cents.

    "Thanks Shane. Yea I don’t really know what going on a date is like but I do know that I already feel nervous and exciting. I mean Bette and I haven’t had very much one on one time."

    "Yea I guess you are right. Well you two will have a blast- you always do together. God you two are such a great couple- I hope you can remember that someday." Alice said her voice now a little sad.

    "I know Alice. I hope so too. I can see that we have built a very beautiful life together and I can tell how much she loves me. I hope I’m able to get to that same place sooner rather than  later."

    "Well one date with Porter and you’ll be half way there." Alice winked at Tina

    This whole conversation made Tina more nervous and she would have all day to sit around and think about what was going to happen tonight. she knew that Bette wanted to take her out she just hoped that Bette wouldn’t be expecting too much from her. Tina and Angie and the girls finished breakfast and headed off in different directions. Tina headed back home and when she got there found flowers waiting for her. She smiled as she picked them up they were pink tulips and they were beautiful. She took out the card. It was simple and sweet.

    Tina brought the flowers inside and decided to call Bette to thank her for the flowers.

    "Bette Porter’s office"

    "Hi, um this is Tina. Is Bette there?"

    "Oh hey Tina- this is James- how are you feeling?"

    "Hi James- I’m doing well thanks."

    "Let me get Bette for you- she is in a meeting but she told me to interrupt if you were to call."

    6. Ok, I was thinking about the dress and boots Tina will be wearing for her date. The same as provocations? Will Bette lose it when she sees her in it? Will Tina remember of course the bad about their relationship. I feel drama coming. Love your story

    15. I’m with Rau on this one. Also Tina needs to loosen up a bit and go with the flow. I am sure Bette is going to let her dictate the pace of the date. PPS

    16. Great chapter. Tina needs to try to keep calm and keep her mind clear for the date and not try to think what might happen. With Bette you never know what the surprise will be but it will be great, as Bette will do. I still want to know what kind of meeting Tina was going to with her colleague. Was it personal or was it business related? I simply can’t believe it was personal. Must go back and read up until the accident to see if I can answer my own question. Thanks for posting.
