You Can Always Remember What You Can Never Forget (Chap24)

    "Hey" Bette said sleepily

"Good morning."  Tina said in formal voice

"How did you sleep T?" Bette smile was growing

"ah um I slept well- thank you."

    "Good- me too!"

Tina could feel herself blushing. She quickly excused herself to go check on Angie. Damn Bette totally knew I was all over her this morning! Tina thought to herself as her face got more red. Tina had to admit to herself that she did sleep like a baby and she knew it’s because of the way she and bette touched in their sleep. After being together for so long it was habit and routine how they came together in the night, so Tina couldn’t be sorry about it. She went into Angie’s room and the little girl was already awake and playing quietly in her crib. She got so excited when she saw her mama T. Meanwhile Bette had gotten up and decided to let Tina and Angie spend a little alone time together. She made a pot of coffee, grabbed and banana and went to sit out by the pool. Tina came out and expected to see Bette in the kitchen, but she wasn’t. She looked outside and saw Bette casually laying on one of the loungers by the pool. She was sipping her coffee and eating a banana. Tina couldn’t help but stop and stare- she swore that Bette was the most beautiful person she had ever seen-male or female.

"Mama B" Angie screamed out to Bette and Bette looked up and caught Tina staring at her.

"Hey baby girl." Bette got up and grabbed up the little girl and tickled and kissed her till she squealed. Tina couldn’t help but smile at the site.

The two adult are in the kitchen making breakfast for themselves and for Angie.

"So T- what time do you wanna head out today?"

"Um I hadn’t really thought about it- maybe after Angie wakes up from her nap?"

"Sure that sounds perfect. That way we can pack while she is sleeping."

They go about their morning, both showering and getting ready for the day. They decided to take Angie to the park. She loves going down the slide. They had a great family day together. It was good for the couple to have a day where they paid so much attention to their daughter. The weekend would be filled with time to focus on them as a couple. They then decided to go to the planet for an early lunch.

    1. I really wish Tina was a little more… understanding toward Bette. I know she’s going through a tough time, but this is push and pull to the extreme. Bette’s being really supportive, but things would work better if they had a steady forward pace rather than starts and stops. Just do what feels natural, Tina, and stop caring about everything else. But don’t jump her when you get the happy memories and then kick her when you realize you don’t really know her. It’s not cool and it’d be the kinda of behavior that would eventually break up even the strongest of relationships. Anyway, this was a great update. PPS!

    2. Thanks for the update. I hope the weekend away alone brings them closer together. I think Bette is doing an amazing job of being supportive and loving with Tina. Maybe this time away without outside interference will help her to better understand where Tina is coming from so that it won’t feel so much like she’s going from one extreme to the other. I think Tina is doing the best she can under the circumstances too. I think her memories trigger her emotions, she acts on them but doesn’t have a foundation to keep building on at this point. That has got to be really frightening. Please post again soon.

    3. I feel for Tina. It’s not easy being her right now; she loves Bette but doesn’t remember much. And Bette is unusually ‘a saint’. Loving the story. Thk u.
