“You can tell me 1000 times, but its how I felt and you saying it didn’t translate to how you act around her. It was very upsetting.”
Bette felt herself getting frustrated and she hadn’t even told Tina the worse part- and when she did she knew it would only prove Tina’s point more. Bette let out a huge sigh
“I’m sorry you are frustrated with me Bette- but this is how I feel and I can’t help it. I felt this way around Diane and I was right about her.”
“T- that was completely different…wait a minute you remember Diane?”
“Oh um yea I do. Wait I can remember all about her. She used to work for you and then she hit on you?”
“Well I’m sorry you had to remember her, but at least you are getting some memories back.”
“Yea I feel like they are coming to me easier.”
“That’s great T.”
“Bette why were you crying last night?” Tina asked hesitantly
Bette looked at Tina and had trouble finding any words to start.
“Bette please just talk to me. I hate this distance I feel right now.”
Bette reached out and took Tina’s hand in hers
“I know T- I hate it too. I woke up with such a sick feeling when you weren’t lying next to me. You know over the past few months since your accident we have been so open and honest with each other and I want to continue that. I know I didn’t do that last night when I let you leave. I promise to be better and not let my stubbornness interfere with our relationship.”
“Thanks- and I promise to express my feelings instead of running off in a huff.”
“So in keeping with the open and honest theme I need to tell you something. Please promise me you will hear me out before you say or do anything.”
“Just tell me”
“Kelly kissed me last night”
The words hung in the air and Tina felt like she couldn’t breathe. A tear escaped her eye and slid down her face. Bette stared at her and reached out to wipe the tear away. Tina moved quickly so Bette couldn’t touch her.

Yes, I agree with scaper. Dump Kelly and take your money and find something else to do because if a relationship with Tina means the world to you, it has to be big. Kelly is shallow slime and needs to learn a lesson with this one. Thanks for the update.

Wait, so Bette kissed Kelly back? Well that changes everything because I was under the impression that Kelly caught her off guard and planted one on her but Bette pushed her away. What makes the accidental kiss so unbelievable is that, and I’m not speaking for everyone here but, I’ve never been in a situation where someone got that close to me to kiss me off guard. I’ve always had time to duck or shove away from me. No one is that fast and if they were they’re not kissing properly, it would be more like bumping someone in the face. Yes, I analyzed that situation and found unbelievably impossible. Which could only lead me to conclude that Bette wanted that kiss, and it is perfectly human to want to kiss someone other than your spouse. Bette’s response of wanting to get back at Tina is understandable as well. Don’t go with a lame excuse like “she caught me off guard” it makes you look really stupid unless your girlfriend is really stupid then you deserve each other. This relationship is very toxic because Tina’s jealousy and Bette’s flirtatious nature is not a good combination. Bette needs a more confident woman, maybe Kelly, to compliment her need for attention. Tina needs someone more low key. Thanks for the awesome post.

Great update.Scaper, I love your comment and agree completely, especially the last bit…”tits up.” Even when the show was on, Bette made me mad as hell by being oblivious to kelly and her antics when everyone else could see what was going on, especially Tina. Bette doesn’t seem to notice when people are flirting with her because she is not interested and she thinks they will leave her alone. that is just stupid and some people will not give up. That is why her ass is in a sling now and Bette deserves everything that she gets from Tina. Tina is right and Bette should feel very blessed if Tina comes back to her. Thanks for posting.
Well, Tina is upset that Bette didn’t leave with her and stayed out with Kelly in the first place, so that’s one hurdle. When one isn’t listened to and something bad happens as a result, it can be a)really annoying, and b) somewhat hurtful that one’s feelings were ignored. But a far, far bigger hurdle is that Tina doesn’t seem to believe that Bette didn’t do anything. Bette will just have to work at gaining Tina’s trust, and Tina will just have to put things in perspective; Bette didn’t ask for it to happen and didn’t actually cheat on her. She needs to figure out why she’s so distrustful that she assumes something more did happen. In the meantime, Bette totally needs to completely cut off any kind of tie with Kelly. Thanks for the post! :)
