“T please- I didn’t kiss her back and I didn’t encourage this. In fact I had just told her how nothing would ever happen between us because I love you and only you.”
Tina sat there in silence processing everything.
“T…baby please say something.”
“What would you like me to say??” Tina’s words were cold and emotionless
“I don’t know- tell me what you’re thinking and feeling.”
“I literally fell sick to my stomach. I’m angry, I’m devastated and I don’t want to be around you right now.”
“I know T- I know. I’m so sorry I let this happen. But you have to believe me that I ended it as soon as it started and it made me sick too. I never wanted to kiss anyone else but you. Please T stay here and talk to me. I can’t let you leave.”
“I need space right now. I need to process this. I’m not leaving forever. I will go pick up Angie and drop her off with you and take a little space.”
“Tina I love you with all that I am. Please believe that.”
“I do believe that. The thing that hurts the most is me having to wonder if you did something to lead her on. You said yourself that you were drunk and that you were frustrated with me and wanted to make me mad.”
“No T- I would never kiss someone else to make you mad. God Tina- I swear I didn’t do anything. It never even crossed my mind that she wanted me.”
“Come on Bette she flirts with you constantly.”
“She flirts with everyone.”
“None of this matter- what matters is that this breaks my heart and I need some time and some space to help me move forward.”
“T can you please tell me you still love me and that we will move on together?”
Bette broke down and had tears running down her face. Tina looked at her love in so much pain and it almost broke through her anger wall. She knew she couldn’t just forgive her though.
Tina stood up and walked towards the door- Bette’s sobs grew louder.
“Bette I will always love you. I just time to heal.”
“Ok T- I will give you whatever you need, but please keep talking to me. I can’t go without talking to you.”
“I will be back with Angie in about 20 mins so try to get yourself together. You and she should have a nice afternoon together ok?”
“Ok- I will pull it together, but when will you be back?”
“I don’t know.”
“I guess I have no choice but to let you go, but know that I don’t want to.”
Tina walked out without saying anything else. Bette knew it would be bad, but she didn’t think it would be this bad. She didn’t realize how heartbroken Tina would be. To Bette it was a stupid kiss that meant nothing, but to Tina it meant everything. Intimacy was the most important thing to Tina and Bette broke that by kissing someone else.
“How am I going to make this right?” Bette wondered out loud.

Yes, I agree with scaper. Dump Kelly and take your money and find something else to do because if a relationship with Tina means the world to you, it has to be big. Kelly is shallow slime and needs to learn a lesson with this one. Thanks for the update.

Wait, so Bette kissed Kelly back? Well that changes everything because I was under the impression that Kelly caught her off guard and planted one on her but Bette pushed her away. What makes the accidental kiss so unbelievable is that, and I’m not speaking for everyone here but, I’ve never been in a situation where someone got that close to me to kiss me off guard. I’ve always had time to duck or shove away from me. No one is that fast and if they were they’re not kissing properly, it would be more like bumping someone in the face. Yes, I analyzed that situation and found unbelievably impossible. Which could only lead me to conclude that Bette wanted that kiss, and it is perfectly human to want to kiss someone other than your spouse. Bette’s response of wanting to get back at Tina is understandable as well. Don’t go with a lame excuse like “she caught me off guard” it makes you look really stupid unless your girlfriend is really stupid then you deserve each other. This relationship is very toxic because Tina’s jealousy and Bette’s flirtatious nature is not a good combination. Bette needs a more confident woman, maybe Kelly, to compliment her need for attention. Tina needs someone more low key. Thanks for the awesome post.

Great update.Scaper, I love your comment and agree completely, especially the last bit…”tits up.” Even when the show was on, Bette made me mad as hell by being oblivious to kelly and her antics when everyone else could see what was going on, especially Tina. Bette doesn’t seem to notice when people are flirting with her because she is not interested and she thinks they will leave her alone. that is just stupid and some people will not give up. That is why her ass is in a sling now and Bette deserves everything that she gets from Tina. Tina is right and Bette should feel very blessed if Tina comes back to her. Thanks for posting.
Well, Tina is upset that Bette didn’t leave with her and stayed out with Kelly in the first place, so that’s one hurdle. When one isn’t listened to and something bad happens as a result, it can be a)really annoying, and b) somewhat hurtful that one’s feelings were ignored. But a far, far bigger hurdle is that Tina doesn’t seem to believe that Bette didn’t do anything. Bette will just have to work at gaining Tina’s trust, and Tina will just have to put things in perspective; Bette didn’t ask for it to happen and didn’t actually cheat on her. She needs to figure out why she’s so distrustful that she assumes something more did happen. In the meantime, Bette totally needs to completely cut off any kind of tie with Kelly. Thanks for the post! :)
