Alice felt dumb struck.
Alice: Tina what are you talking about? How? Oh my God you mean you went back to the dark side? What happened? I thought you were sure you were gay?
Alice questioned Tina non-stop.
Tina: Alice will you please shut up and let me explain.
Alice realized she was interrogating Tina and shut up.
Tina: Alice I know it seems impossible but I swear to you that I have not been with a man.
“Than you got yourself inseminated,” Alice stated interrupting Tina.
Alice: Tina this is great, although I thought you might wait for Ms. Right. So why are you fricking out? Did you get scared and have a change of heart?
Tina: I wish
Alice: What do you mean, you wish?
“Alice!” “I didn’t get inseminated,” she whispered the last part.
Tina took a long breath and stated: I know this is going to sound crazy but I meet a woman name Bette. We had a one nightstand or two-night stand, or whatever you want to call it. Bette told me she was an alien after the fact. She warned me then that I could be pregnant but I did not believe her. I fainted yesterday and found out I am infact pregnant.
Tina looked for any sign that Alice believed her.
Alice didn’t say a word.
“Alice?” Tina stated looking directly into Alice’s eyes.
Alice: My God TK you don’t have to make something as crazy as that up. I will love you no matter how you got pregnant.
Tina: Alice I am not lying!
Tina then broke down and started to sob loudly.
“Tina it’s okay please don’t cry, I’ll help you get through this,” Alice stated rubbing Tina shoulders.
Tina: You do believe me, don’t you?
“Yeah TK I believe you,” Alice stated trying to convince Tina.
Alice: Tina why don’t you let me drive you home. You’re in no condition to drive.
“ Okay,” Tina stated softly through her sobs.
Both were silent on the way to Tina’s apartment.
They arrived at Tina’s apartment.
Alice: Do you need some company?

i was missing this story, and here it is!! great reading. i had to snigger at the end when tina was beamed up to the greater beyond. me thinks it was “momma” who tracked her down and took her “home”. i’m guessing looking down on the little folk, bette was able to see tina’s every move. so now, the edict stands that tina’s child will be returned and brought home. hmmm.anyway, lovin this story. thanks for taking the time to share with us.

Sounds like Bette has come after her woman and child. I guess no abortion, which is good.

I have to admit that I am not into science fiction, but I kept seeing your story come up. So, I decided to get caught up with what you have already submitted. Well, you got me hooked. I am very interested to see what is going to happen. I hope that was Bette who beamed Tina out and Alice saw it. The look on Alice’s face would be priceless. Please post soon.

I knew Bette wouldn’t let Tina just get rid of her child without giving her the opportunity to speak about it and tell Tina she would take the child home with her. PPS
