Tina: Yeah if you don’t mind
They got out of the car and entered Tina’s apartment.
Alice: Wow, what a day, huh?
Tina: Yea
Alice: Do you have some Tea? I can make it for you.
Tina: Yes I do and I would love a cup.
Alice: Oh Shit! I forgot don’t you need some decaffeinated tea?
Tina: Why would I need decaffeinated tea?
Alice: For the baby silly.
Tina: No Alice, listen I need to tell you something and I hope you won’t judge me.
Alice: Okay
Tina: I made an appointment with a doctor to get an abortion three days from now but before you judge hear me out. Listen, I don’t know what this child will look like and I am scared of how this pregnancy will affect my body. For all I know I might become a 900 lb Amazon woman or something.
Alice: Tina, are you sure?
Tina: Yes, for God sakes Alice I am caring an alien baby. Have you not seen any of those alien horror movies?
Alice: Yeah I have Tina but I thought you said this woman was drop dead gorgeous?
Tina: She is but that could just be her cloak.
Alice: You mean her disguise.
Tina: Yeah, whatever you call it.
Alice still not believing Tina’s story about getting pregnant by a female alien attempts to get Tina to rethink the abortion idea but Tina does not budge.
Alice: Tina just promise me one thing. Promise me that you will think about it some more before going.
Tina: Okay I will on one condition.
Alice: What’s that?
Tina: Promise me that you will go with me?
Alice hesitantly stated, “Yeah okay but you owe big time.”
“Yeah I know, I know,” Tina stated knowing that Alice would never let her live this one down.
The girls settle in on the couch. They surfed the television stations but every channel they turned to seem to be about aliens or giving birth. They decided to watch cartoons as a safer bet and Alice refused to give Tina any tea with caffeine until she decided whether or not to keep the baby. They fell asleep on the couch about 9pm. Tina woke at 10pm and saw that Alice was still asleep. Tina tried to wake her but Alice just stretched out her legs on the couch while still sleeping. Tina covered Alice with a blanket.

i was missing this story, and here it is!! great reading. i had to snigger at the end when tina was beamed up to the greater beyond. me thinks it was “momma” who tracked her down and took her “home”. i’m guessing looking down on the little folk, bette was able to see tina’s every move. so now, the edict stands that tina’s child will be returned and brought home. hmmm.anyway, lovin this story. thanks for taking the time to share with us.

Sounds like Bette has come after her woman and child. I guess no abortion, which is good.

I have to admit that I am not into science fiction, but I kept seeing your story come up. So, I decided to get caught up with what you have already submitted. Well, you got me hooked. I am very interested to see what is going to happen. I hope that was Bette who beamed Tina out and Alice saw it. The look on Alice’s face would be priceless. Please post soon.

I knew Bette wouldn’t let Tina just get rid of her child without giving her the opportunity to speak about it and tell Tina she would take the child home with her. PPS
