Chapter 6
Tina had been standing in the hallway, waiting for the right moment to talk to Bette. Or that was what she made herself believe. Truth was she tried to work up the nerve to see the English teacher. When Alice and Dana left the room she thought; It`s now or never and walked in.
Bette smiled. Her plan had worked. She knew it was a little cowardly to get Tina to come to her. But she was afraid of being rejected. If Tina did not want anything to do with her, she wouldn’t have come.
But the plan did not say anything about what she was going to do now. She took a deep breath and turned around.
“Hey” Bette said and gave Tina the greatest smile.
OMG, look at that smile Tina thought. She is absolutely breath taking.
“I was hoping you would come by” Bette continued.
I bet you did, Tina thought.
“Well, I had to thank you for the jacket, and I was out of paper, so I had to come in person”
“I am glad you did, because I think we have something to talk about”
Bette knew they could not keep talking to each other before they had talked about what had happened between them. And as scared as she was about the conversation, she knew it was she who had to bring it up. It was she who had initiative for the meeting.
“Yeah, I know” Tina replied.
She was nervous. How was she going to tell Bette that she did not remember anything about that night?
“I have something to confess to you” Bette said. “I am terrible sorry, but I can’t remember anything about the night at the club.”
Tina felt the load on her shoulders lift off.
“You really don’t?” she asked.
Bette misunderstood Tina`s question, and thought she was angry at her for not remembering.
“I am so sorry, I really don’t know what got in to me, but I eat some brownies, which may have contained some kind of drug. You have to believe me. It’s not something I normally do. I don’t get high and take strange women to my house. Oh god, I am so sorry. You must think I am the most irresponsible person ever” Bette said with confusion in her voice waving her arms around.

That was a sweet and lovely chapter. Both of them shyly flirting with each other. The notes were sweet especially the last one from Tina to Bette. Can hardly wait for their next meeting and to see how they flirt with each other again while setting the time of their date/meeting on Friday. Great update. Love it. Thanks for posting.
