She had desperately wanted to remember a kiss with the beautiful blond. But her mind was blank.

“I think I would have remembered if something happened between us, no matter how wasted I was”  

Ah, nice on Porter, Tina thought.

“I hope you are right” Tina said, already regretting the statement. Fuck. Why did I say that? Oh no. It was so not what I meant.

“You do?” Bette asked with sadness in her voice.

“I am sorry Bette. I did not mean it like that. I am just scared of not knowing what happened. And I feel that a night so wasted can’t have been a good one. I know how it came out, but I sincerely did not mean it like that. I would have liked it if something had happened between us.

Immediately after she had said the last sentence, Tina blushed. Omg. I really can’t control my words on any level to day. God she makes me so nervous.  

Bette found Tina absolutely adorable, with her semi red face and the words just coming out of her in full speed.

She smiled, and locked eyes with Tina again.

“I agree with you on your last statement” she said and winked at Tina.

“But on the rest I think you are wrong”

“The night couldn’t have been that bad, cause I still got to meet you for the first time”

OMG, she is so flirting with me isn’t she? Tina smiled at Bette.

“You make a good point there Ms Porter. But don’t you think it`s still kind of awful that we don’t know anything about that night. What if something happened? Something that we should have known about. Good or bad.

“I know Tina, and I have thought about it myself. Trying to twist my brains out for some memory”

“Maybe thinking is not the right way to go on this” Tina suddenly said.

“What do you mean?”

“Maybe we have to go back. And do it all over again”

“I don’t know about that Tina, I am going to stay away from brownies for a while, A good while actually. I am not eating brownies until I am 60”

“I want eat any either. What I mean is that you and I could go back to the club togheter, and maybe just try to figure out what happened. Walking in our own footsteps”

Tina felt good about herself. She had just asked Bette to go out with her. I wasn’t a date or anything, but maybe it could be. At least she got to spend some time with the brown eyed woman.

Bette was trilled. She is asking me to go out with her. I know it’s not like a date, but still. I get to spent time with her. And if I put the Porter charm on her, maybe something can happen. 

“I would love to Tina. What about this Friday?

“It’s a date, ehh,no I mean deal”

Bette left that last comment unnoticed.

“Oh, look at the clock. I have to go” Tina suddenly said. She could have stayed there, talking to Bette forever. But all good things had to come to an end. For now.

“I guess we can figure out when to meet later in the week? Finding reasons to see Bette before Friday.

 It has been great to finally meet you. Have a nice evening and I will see you tomorrow” she continued.

“It was very nice to finally meet you too” Bette replied, sad that Tina needed to go.

She just stood there and looked at Tina leave the room. Oh my god. I could fall for her she thought.

After Tina was gone, Bette put on her jacket and turned off the lights. She walked out of the room, and reached in to the pocket of her jacket to find her keys, so she could lock the door. Her fingers met a piece of paper. She picked it up, and read it. A huge smile appeared on her face.
