    Chapter 8- Explanations

     
    "And why you are leaving totay? It’ s Monday"
     
    "I want her to rest tomorrow. I don’ t want the tiredness to affect the test’ s results"
     
    "This is one of the things I love about you. Your passion to protect what is yours… in this case your friend. You did the same for me and Angie when we were together and even when you left" Tina said with love and sadness in her voice.
     
    "What? How… I mean…" Bette was confused. How she knows about that?
     
    "Dana talked to me about your visit a few days before you leave"
     
    "Why?"
     
    "It was something she wanted me to know in case… something happens to her. Suddenly. That’ s how I know about the calls  through the internet too"
       
       Bette stood up imediately. She found her clothes and started dressing.
     
    "Is this the reason you desided that you want me back? Because you think that you owe me something?" Bette said coldly.
     
    "What? Where did this come from? I know what I owe to you and to be with you because of a sense of duty it’ s not one of that things! I mean, what the fuck? I’ m not the bitch that all of our friends think I am. Yes I did and said some things without thinking but I have an explanation. On the other hand, you had no answers when I asked for an explanation. You said ‘I still don’ t have any answers’. Do you remember this?" Tina now was angry and hurt from the memories. She put on her robe.
     
    "What are you talking about?" Bette now was pale like a ghost. All her blood removed from her face. She knew that Tina was referring to Cadence.
     
    "Why did you stay with me after I lost our son?" Tina asked hurted with low voice.
     
    "Excuse me? Do you think that… You believed that… For God’ s shake Tina! For five years you have been thinking that I was with you of a sense of duty?"
     
    "Yes Bette, I did" Tina said quietly "I lost our son and I lost you too. I haven’ t another explanation for Cadence. I wasn’ t enough for you. Enough woman for you." Tina was crying with silent tears. It broke Bette’ s heart. She closed the space between them and embrace her. She hold her tight.
