"Oh come on Carlisle, this is just plain mean!" I struggled helplessly as the Cullens, using thier iron grip and superhuman strength towed me towards Alice's room.

"Ah ah ah, appealing to our chink in the chain is not  gonna work lil sis! You are so not getting out of this one! Halloween is my favourite type of year! Eet ees when dee vampires come out, no?!" Emmett did a stereotypical vampire voice, and I used Jasper's hand to hit him over the head.

Alice was waiting in her room, make up and costumes at the ready.

"You guys get changed, I'll handle Bella!" sang Alice, shutting the door in their gleeful faces."Right, sit back and see the master at work!"

Two hours later, she tugged me towards a mirror and said"Open your eyes Bella."

I opened them and saw a pale, deathly  figure gawping back at me. Her eyes were black rimmed and my mouth was bright red and dripping with "blood".

"You killed me!" I accused Alice feebly ; I was still shocked at my over the top appearance.

When I made it downstairs,  everyone was stood in the hallway. Emmett called "Hurry up!" and I ran downstairs.

Suddenly, Emmett pulled me towards him and kissed me right on the lips! "EMMETT!" I screamed, looking wildly around for Edward, praying he hadn't seen Emmett's weird token of affection. "Relax, sweetheart !"said Emmett – and he pulled his face off! And when it had been removed, I saw that it was a mask, and that really it was Edward underneath it!

"OH THANK GOD!" I gasped, and everyone laughed. I noticed that Edward's face was a male version of mine, and he was wearing a tux.

"So Edward and I are ummm… dead husband and wife? And Alice is a fairy, Rosalie's a princess… WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU EMMETT?" I just noticed Emett, sulking and scowling in a corner.

"Rose made me be a pink bunny! And it's not manly!" wailed Emmett, bursting into tears.

"You know, tears aren't manly either." said Edward under his breath so that only  I could hear him.

"Come on Rose, at this rate me and Edward'll be the only scary one's here! Let Emmett be scary!"I pleaded, and eventually she agreed and Emmett bounded downstairs wearing a ripped shirt, jagged shorts, a "bloodstained" bobble hat and a fake knife through the head headband.
