    A romantic night of dinner with heavy conversation. The calm before the storm.

    Later that afternoon***

    After finishing taking measurements at the Center and running a few more errands, Candaces thoughts stray to the past weekend, which was what they both needed. Even though they had spent quality time together the last few days; talking, making love, and just lazying around the house, Candace is technically still in the dog house for her flirt show with Bette. Despite the healing effects of their weekend together and Mikela claiming she believed that flirting was as far as it went, Candace could still sense her distrust and insecurities about their relationship. To remedy these things and to alleviate her monstrous guilt, she wants to take Mikela to her favorite place for dinner and maybe catch a movie, preferably something with Denzel Washington in it. Even though Mikela is 100% ***** she still has a crush for Denzel, and whenever they see him, be it on television or a movie, Mikela always declares that he is a piece of chocolate heaven. While laughing at that last thought, Candace dials Mikelas phone number.

    Mikela: Hello

    Candace: Hey you. How is your day going?

    Mikela: Oh, fine. A little hectic, but you know how Mondays are. So how has your day off been?

    Candace: With a little mischievousness in her voice. Pretty good, but I know just the thing that will make it perfect.

    Mikela: Laughs a little before asking, Really? Well, please share.

    Candace: How about you and me go to Caramels for dinner and maybe catch a flick tonight.

    Mikela: Uum sounds good to me.

    Candace: Great, its a date. Ill make reservations for 7:00. Ok?

    Mikela: Thats fine

    Candace: OK, Ill see you when you get home. Love ya. Bye

    Later that evening at Caramels Restaurant***

    After being seated and placing their drink orders, Candace decides to start up the conversation.

    Candace: So how was work today?

    Mikela: It was fine. Like I said Mondays are usually crazy.

    Candace: How is that project for the 1st Data Bank coming along?

    Mikela: Well, we presented the preliminary drawings on Thursday along with some rough estimates of cost and a timeline. They said they would look over the proposal some more and get back with us by the end of this week. Joe seems to think we will get the contract, but then again Joe seems to think we will get everything we bid on.
