    Central vs. Oceanside, and Shane finds a way to ask Carmen on a date [:

     

    Central High Gym ( Tip Off Time )

    After the warm up and announcments all the starters made their way onto the court. Morgan was Central’s tallest player so she took center along with Oceanside’s tallest player. Both teams were playing in a man-to-man defense, so the second they all took their positions for the tip off they immediately picked up who they were guarding.

    Alex walked up and took a position next to Shane.

    " I got Shane " she said with a smirk

    " keep smirking smart ass " Shane thought

     

    The referee too took his position and threw the ball up. Morgan was slightly shorter than Oceanside’s girl but when they both jumped she could definately jump higher and she tipped the ball to Shane.

    Shane grabbed the ball and started dribbling down court. Oceanside’s players took their defensive stances, and Central’s players got ready to make a play.

    Coach Long yelled to Shane " Shane run 3 ! "

    Shane nodded and crossed the ball into her right hand, then she put up 3 fingers on her left hand.

    Shane passed the ball to Papi and Sam ran up and set a hard pick on Alex who was trying to keep up with Shane and when Sam set the pick Alex she fell on the ground. Papi saw Shane wide open and dished the ball back to her. She squared up and took a wide open 3-pointer. It went in, nothin but net. All of Central’s fans stood up and cheered.

    " Shane McCutcheon for 3 ! " the annoucer yells excitedly

    Shane’s teammates briefly slapped her on the back before sprinting down to defend. Oceanside inbounded it Alex and she dribbled up the court. She got passed the half court line then Shane ran up and took her defensive postion. Alex continued dribbling and said

    " Well, well, nice shot Shane. But I can do that too "

    Then Alex drove her shoulder hard into Shane who then fell on the ground, it should’ve been a charge foul but the refs didn’t do anything and Alex hit a 3-pointer.

    The entire bench stood up and yelled for a foul. But the refs still didn’t do anything. Shane got up off the ground slowly, her teammate Paige went over to her
