    Chapter 30

    Bette and April went into the master bedroom and exchanged an amused glance after Bette explained to her who Mags was in the first place.

    „Hmmm… that sure was a surprise.“ Bette laughed.

    „Well, I figured her one time Nanny would be a bit older, but I have to admit I am pleasantly surprised.“ April grinned.

    „Hey…“ Bette’s answer got lost at seeing some of her clothes thrown carelessly on the floor. „Where in a hurry, I assume ?“

    „You can say that again. My line of thoughts were something like a mass murderer must have entered the house. How would I have known that she was shrieking with delight and that that was supposed to be a name anyway.“ Dr. Sullivan looked kinda pleased with her answer and Bette was holding her right side while suppressing a full body laugh.

    „You know, Dr. Sullivan, Blue nearly flew into the pool at hearing my girlfriend shriek like that.“

    April mustered her – hopefully new neighbour – for a few seconds. „I take it she is not a screamer then ?“

    Bette recovered surprisingly fast and her face never lost it’s countenance. „That, my dear Doctor, is for me to know and you to.. not even guess !“

    „Fair is fair, my friend.“ April offered her hand for a handshake and Bette took it.

    „OK, now will you please just choose something and hop into the shower. I bet the house will be full again in some minutes and your girl is on her way with my daughter.“ Bette couldn’t resist and April blushed.

    „Yes, madame !“ She saluted, choose a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and went out of the bedroom.

    „Just to the left. And there should be fresh towels on the rack somewhere.“ Bette shouted after her.

    In the living room Helena and her Mags had found a seat on the couch and where just looking quietly at each other for a moment.

    „Mags, what are you doing here ? I mean we just talked on the phone yesterday and I thought you would be here on Tuesday.“

    „Well, little one, I took the redeye to L.A., because I had the feeling I would be needed here soon.“ Margret Waters answered with a smile.

    3. Hello kiju, that was just so awesome. I love how you have this family interacting it is like they are a real family, and I cannot wait for Angelica to finally meet Blue, and Dr. S I think that seeing Shane’s interaction with Angelica and her family will cement Dr. S’s desire and need to be with Shane. I love this story can’t wait to see where this goes, and good on you for not torturing Tina completely. Sincerely, JC

    4. Great one again, not much Blue in it but I think you reserved that for the next one huh. Mags seems to be a nice woman and a very clever one too. I just love the way Bette and Helena interact. Gonna go right to the next chapter now because I know you already posted that one :-)
