    Author Notes:

    The baby is coming sooner than expected…

    “Ok, ten days…ten days…ten days…” Alice said pacing the room.

     

    “Alice, will you sit down please” chuckled Tina.

     

    “How can I sit down at a time like this?!” exclaimed Alice. “I only have ten days and absolutely nothing ready!”

     

    “What do you have to get ready?” Bette asked causing Alice to come to an abrupt stop and stare at Bette.

     

    “What do I have to get ready? What do I have to get ready!?!” Alice exclaimed before resuming her pace causing the ladies to start laughing again. 

     

    “It’s like she’s the one having the baby” laughed Shane.

     

    “Can you imagine how crazy Alice will be when it is her own baby? I’d hate to be around when Dana’s pregnant” smiled Bette.

     

    “What about me?” asked Dana who just came back into the room after getting Alice a glass of water. She walked over towards Alice. “Come on Al, sit down… drink this.”

     

    “Oh, Oh, ok” Alice mumbled as she allowed Dana to usher her to a chair and hand her the drink. Dana then sat on the arm of the chair and began to rub Alice’s back gently in hopes of calming her down.

     

    “Oh nothing Dane, we’re just commenting on Alice’s state” laughed Tina.

     

    Sure it was a bit of a shock for everyone. Bette and Tina were expecting their baby at the end of the month, not at the end of the following week. However, Alice seemed to be taking the shock one step further than everyone else. Mind you, this is Alice and they are use to her taking things more dramatically than the average person. That’s what makes Alice…Alice. This is what they loved.

     

    “So…are you going to be okay with all of this?” asked Bette looking over at Alice.

     

    “Well do I have a choice?” Alice quickly answered back.

     

    “It’s not like we chose it to be this way” smiled Tina as she placed her hand on Bette’s thigh.

     

    “hmmm” was Alice’s answer.

     

    “We didn’t!”

     

    “Uh huh, I’m sure what they all say. Now if you excuse me ladies, I have some errands to run considering I now have only 10 days” and with that Alice made a rather quick exit, dragging Dana along behind her.

    11. YAY Kanaf is back! This was Awesome girl! I cannot wait to read more of this. I love fics surrounding the pregnancy, and how damn cute these two are. This line really said it all: “I’m only strong because of you. I’m not strong for you.” Bette said looking into Tina’s eyes. Good stuff, and if you think your creative juices aren’t back or flowing…you are DEAD WRONG! MORE MORE MORE. ;-)

    13. You know, I’m not so sure that when Alice left she didn’t actually “march right down to the doctor’s office and ask for a re-calculation or something”. LOL !! It does sound like something she would do. Hahahaha ! Anyway, thank you, thank you KANAF !! You’ve been so missed and I’m so glad you’re back ! I really hope you post again soon ( when time permits that is ). You know how much we love your stories and writing style, don’t you ? WELCOME BACK, KANAF !!
