    Frustration

    “And if we decide not to participate in the study what happens to our sample sperm and eggs?”

     

    “They are your specimens and you would be free to do with them as you please” Dr. Wilson admitted with respect for Bette’s quick thinking.  “You could deposit them as you did the donor sample before and they would be available only for your use at your will.”

     

    “Tina?” Bette knew what she wanted to do.

     

    “I would like to take ours eggs and sperm and run.”  Tina hoped that Bette was on the same page. 

     

    “So how does this work, you pack our samples in a to go bag?”

     

    “I can transfer them to your ob who can have them stored in the cryobank no other questions asked.  Or you can indeed take them in a to go bag and have the cryobank certify them, more testing and loss of sample, or just take them into your own custody.”

     

    “Let’s transfer them to our ob.” Tina answered this time. “We have the same withdrawal privileges as with our other samples?”

     

    “Yes.”  Dr. Wilson shook hands with them concluding the meeting.  “Your samples will be deposited later today and available for your use tomorrow.”  Her eyes twinkled with mischief “If you need any help with the insemination Tina feel free to schedule a visit when Bette is ovulating, which according to the work up will be tomorrow or the day after.  You know that you increase the likelihood of success the more times you inseminate during the window period.”

     

    “And as I recall” Tina smiled into Dr. Wilson’s dancing eyes, “arousal during insemination increases the chances of success as well.”

     

    “I was going to remind you of that” Dr. Wilson laughed closing the door to her office.

     

    Bette was quiet on the ride home. 

     

    “What’s up babe?” Tina rested her hand on the brunette’s thigh.  Bette took her hand and held it as she continued to drive. 

     

    “I am blown away that we are going to have a baby of our own.” Bette glanced at her.  “Angelica is our daughter and ultimately it doesn’t matter that she does not carry my DNA the thought that this child will is amazing.”

    3. Love the story and if I were Bette or Tina, Alice would be in a straight-jacket with a muzzle. However, we know tht Bette and Tina will wake up in the middle of the night with the desire and urge ever present. They will love and take care of each other in due time. Post when you can.

    5. Hahaha…I would have told them they were too busy planning their honeymoon to plan their wedding! This story is such an interesting premise. Do they know that they can only have a girl using their own sperm and egg?

    16. Great update Kelika, I am sure that they had to keep B&T on seperate sides of the couch or room to keep them from groaping each other during the planning. LOL PPS :o)
