Chapter 26
“Well don’t you clean up all nice,” Harrison commented taking Dana’s sports bag after she stepped out of the women’s locker room.
“Yeah, well it’s not every night I go to dinner with possible sponsors,” Dana replied nervously as the two teammates began walking towards the main entrance of the stadium. “Thanks for taking my equipment back to the hotel for me. There was no way I would have had time to drop that off at the hotel and meet Conrad for this meeting in time.”
Shrugging Harrison said, “It’s not biggie. I just hope this meeting doesn’t tie up your entire evening. We’ve been in Paris for a week now and tomorrow is the first day we don’t have anything scheduled….”
“I’d still like to go for a run in….”
“Yeah, yeah, we’ll still go for a run in the morning. But then we are going shopping,” Harrison cut in. “We cannot not go shopping in Paris. That is just criminal.”
Dana simply shook her head at her friend’s extreme gayness. “So what are you doing tonight?”
“That is what I wanted to talk to you about. After your dinner, we should hit some clubs. I mean we are on the other side of the planet practically. This is our chance to cut loose.”
“I don’t think that is such,” Dana trailed off as she looked at the last person she ever expected to see.
“Oh, hell no,” Harrison muttered, ready to go off on the redheaded chef.
“Hi Dana. Harrison,” Lara greeted obviously a little nervous. “You guys played really well today.”
Harrison took a deep breath in preparation of the verbal ass-kicking he was about to give Lara for the way she treat Dana, but held it in when he felt Dana touch his arm to calm him down.
“What are you doing here Lara? How did…?”
“You ran into my mom at Christmas, remember? She told me you were playing at an international tournament in Paris in January and I figured since I am here taking classes… I don’t know… I felt it was kind of like fate… you know? I mean what are the odds… do you have a minute to talk?”

anionayo, I am really looking forward to D-Day. It is going to be a blast. I echo the comments above, especially De_leish_ous’ 100mph serve. lol. Seriously, Lara could be so annoying. I too am glad that D set her straight. As always, thank you very much.

So thrilled to see a new post, anionayo!! Sounds like you are throwing down the gauntlet to the other Danish authors. Not that there is anything wrong with that… Love Harrison — he is such a good friend. I can’t believe Lara had the nerve to show up. I am glad Dana made it clear she didn’t want her back. I also can’t believe I was actually happy to see Conrad show up to stop that conversation. “Waste of time”? Bitch. Someone hold me back… Gah. And… Conrad is still a worm. I hope Dana can put that Lara crap behind her. I think if she tries she can find that balance of personal and professional. Great chapter! Thanks!!
God damn that sneaky red head, always trying to worm her way back in to Dana’s life. And as for Conrad, that tool! I suggest Dana do a 100mph serve to his groin! PPS
AAHHAHAHAHAHAH! First of all- Excellent update..And last- Conrad needs to cram it in his cramhole and leave Dana and her super gayness alone, Harrison needs to “accidentally” run into Lara somewhere and give her a piece of his mind…and ughhhh Dana needs to just …something with tennis?
