    Author Notes:

    “Look Harrison I am just going to talk to her… that’s all. I am just going to hear what she has to say. That’s it.”

     

    Not knowing how to respond, Dana looked from Lara to Harrison, “Breath Harrison, before you pass out.”

     

    Expelling the breath he had been holding, Harrison said, “You’ve had plenty of time in LA to talk to Dana but you didn’t. Fate my ass…”

     

    “HARRISON,” Dana yelled, pulling him away from Lara after quickly telling her to stay put.

     

    Once they were at a safe enough distance, Harrison said, “Don’t you even think about listening to her bullshit Dana! Once a cheater always a cheater… she hasn’t changed.”

     

    “Look Harrison I am just going to talk to her… that’s all. I am just going to hear what she has to say. That’s it.”

     

    Harrison gave her a look.

     

    “Seriously Harrison. Look,  I should be done with this dinner and back at the hotel by 10pm. Let’s meet in the lobby of the hotel and we’ll go out and go sightseeing or something.”

     

    “Just remember how you feel whenever Alice lets Gabby back into her life, because that is how I am feeling right now,” he said with a slight pout.

     

    “You are such a drama queen. I am not letting her back into my life. I am talking to her. That is it. Besides I am not looking for anything to complicate my life—I just want to focus on tennis and my last year and a half of school. That is it.”

     

    “Fine. I’ll see you tonight. But I want details.”

     

    “Yes. Fine. Go,” Dana said with a little shove to the doors to emphasize her point.

     

    As she watched, Harrison walk away, the young athlete took a steadying breath and put on her game face before walking  back over to Lara.

     

    Still not knowing what to say, Dana decided to let the chef speak first.

     

    “You look really good, Dane.”

     

    “Thanks.” Dana waited a beat and then added, “Look I have meeting in like ten minutes, and I don’t even know why you are here….”

     

    “I wanted to apologize…”

     

    “Fine, apology accepted.”

     

    “And I was hoping for another chance.”

     

    “Oh,” Dana said. “No.”

     

    “But, why,” Lara said raising her voice slightly. Noticing her mistake when Dana looked around quickly to see if they were still alone, the redhead adjusted her volume and stepped closer to the athlete. “I’m sorry. I was so stupid to throw away what we had. I mean it was something special and I screwed it up. Please baby. I just want another chance… I still love you.”

    5. So thrilled to see a new post, anionayo!! Sounds like you are throwing down the gauntlet to the other Danish authors. Not that there is anything wrong with that… Love Harrison — he is such a good friend. I can’t believe Lara had the nerve to show up. I am glad Dana made it clear she didn’t want her back. I also can’t believe I was actually happy to see Conrad show up to stop that conversation. “Waste of time”? Bitch. Someone hold me back… Gah. And… Conrad is still a worm. I hope Dana can put that Lara crap behind her. I think if she tries she can find that balance of personal and professional. Great chapter! Thanks!!

First of all- Excellent update..And last- Conrad needs to cram it in his cramhole and leave Dana and her super gayness alone, Harrison needs to “accidentally” run into Lara somewhere and give her a piece of his mind…and ughhhh Dana needs to just …something with tennis?
