Becoming Dana Fairbanks Chapter 26
Dana took a step back shaking her head, “No you don’t. I may not be the expert at relationships but I know that when you love someone you are faithful and loyal. You didn’t just cheat on me one time… but for an entire month. I can forgive you but I can’t be with you. Beside things haven’t changed… I haven’t changed.”
The chef new instantly what the athlete was trying to say and decided to try a different tract. “Why do you insist on hiding the best part of who you are Dana,” Lara asked tenderly?
“You don’t get to ask me that question anymore,” Dana replied sadly. A small part of her wanted to give Lara another chance. After all, if Gabby can seemingly change her evil ways, why not Lara? But a larger part (that sounded very much like Harrison) knew this wasn’t the case. “Look,” Dana began, trying to gather her thoughts. Sighing in frustration because she couldn’t find the words to say what she wanted, Dana gave up and said, “Nevermind. I have to get going. Bye Lara.”
“See, right there is what made being with you so impossible. It wasn’t that you were in the closet. It was the fact that you never talked to me,” Lara said frustrated.
“I talked!”
“Never about what was going on in that head of yours or how you felt…”
Taking a step forward, Dana got right into Lara’s face, anger she had been suppressing for so long threatening to boil over. “I told you I loved you,” Dana said in a harsh whisper. “Obviously that means more to me than you.”
Before either woman could say anything else, a voice cut it.
“Fairbanks! There you are, babe. Looking hot, I see,” Conrad said sliding up next to Dana. She hadn’t even seen him come in. “And who is your friend,” he asked looking the redhead up and down?
“Just an old friend from LA. Lara, Conrad my manager. Conrad, Lara,” Dana introduced as the two shook hands briefly.
“Well, old friend Lara from LA, Dana and I have a dinner meeting. So, if you’ll excuse us,” Conrad said dismissing the redhead with nod.

anionayo, I am really looking forward to D-Day. It is going to be a blast. I echo the comments above, especially De_leish_ous’ 100mph serve. lol. Seriously, Lara could be so annoying. I too am glad that D set her straight. As always, thank you very much.
Love the story. Love the update. Conrad needs Alice to kick his ass for being a freaking prick. HAHA FIRE CROTCH. Alice needs to kick her ass too.
haha, I second HarukaFairbanks! Yeah, Alice really need to kick Conrad ass to shut him up…great story..pps!
oo, great update! yay, dana rejected lara! “Oh,” Dana said. “No.” LOL. great story!
So thrilled to see a new post, anionayo!! Sounds like you are throwing down the gauntlet to the other Danish authors. Not that there is anything wrong with that… Love Harrison — he is such a good friend. I can’t believe Lara had the nerve to show up. I am glad Dana made it clear she didn’t want her back. I also can’t believe I was actually happy to see Conrad show up to stop that conversation. “Waste of time”? Bitch. Someone hold me back… Gah. And… Conrad is still a worm. I hope Dana can put that Lara crap behind her. I think if she tries she can find that balance of personal and professional. Great chapter! Thanks!!
God damn that sneaky red head, always trying to worm her way back in to Dana’s life. And as for Conrad, that tool! I suggest Dana do a 100mph serve to his groin! PPS
AAHHAHAHAHAHAH! First of all- Excellent update..And last- Conrad needs to cram it in his cramhole and leave Dana and her super gayness alone, Harrison needs to “accidentally” run into Lara somewhere and give her a piece of his mind…and ughhhh Dana needs to just …something with tennis? LoL Great job buddy seriously. Thanks for the post
