“To all of them, I just want to be a part of your special places,” A grin lit up Spencer’s face and she grabbed her clothes.

“You can use the shower downstairs if you want. It’s in the game room bathroom, first door on the right you can’t miss it,” Spencer said kissing the top of Ashley’s head. Ashley’s head swirled with nervousness as she made her way downstairs, instead of going to get in the shower she stopped at Clay’s room. She knocked lightly on the door and waited for him to answer.

“Hey Ashley, what’s up?” He asked leaning up on the wall.

“I was wondering if you could do me favor, it’s for Spencer, really,” He nodded his head as she explained her plan. When she finished explaining, Clay stood there with a smile on his face.

“Sure, that sounds like a great idea Ashley, I’ll definitely help you out with that,” She gave him a quick hug and sprinted off to take a shower. The hot water beat on her back and ran over the top of her head. The steam seemed to clear her nervousness and all she could feel was anticipation. Wrapping a towel around her damp body, she shook her dark wet curls down around her face. She padded across the tile floor of the game room and was about to head back upstairs when she ran into Paula.

“Hi Ashley, are you girls going out tonight?”

“Yes Maam, I hope that’s okay, we won’t be out late.” Paula patted her on the shoulder.

“Sure it is, just make sure you guys aren’t too tired for church in the morning,” Spencer hadn’t said anything about church but Ashley nodded and continued up the stairs. “Hey Ashley, I just wanted to tell you I’m really glad you and Spencer got to be friends, she hasn’t had many good friends who were girls, and I just wanted you to know, I haven’t seen her this happy in a long time. So please be careful, she can get hurt very easily you know.”
