“‘our’ new house huh?”

“Yeah, she agreed to move in with me.”

“Awesome.” Jorey could hear someone in the background yelling at Ashley, “Look Jor I gotta go. So I’ll see you and Madison tomorrow night?”

“Definitely.”

“K, bye Jor.”

“Bye Ash.”

Jorey closed her phone and continued driving. After a few more minutes she was home. She unlocked the back door and went in. She didn’t see Madison but she knew that she had to be somewhere close.

“Madison?” Jorey walked through the dining room and into the living room, “Madi? You here?” Jorey walked towards the bedroom where she spotted Madison on the phone. She couldn’t help but stand in the doorway and notice how cute she was when she was excited.

Madison noticed that Jorey was standing in the doorway; she gave her a small wave and a smile, “Yeah…uh huh…thank you. I’ll be there. Thank you again. Good bye.” Madison hung up the phone and walked towards Jorey, “Hey baby. Guess what?” Madison wrapped her arms around Jorey’s waist.

“What?” Jorey smiled down at her.

“I got a job interview at the Indianapolis Star.”

“What? That’s great! That’s the biggest paper here in Indiana!”

“I know. I have to be there tomorrow at one for my interview and hopefully the job will be mine.”

“I know you’ll get it.” Jorey leaned down and kissed Madison. “Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Ash invited us to her last show tomorrow night in Ohio. You wanna go?”

“Ohio?”

“Yeah, something about how she made a promise to Spencer to end it in Spence’s home state.”

“Oh. That’s cool…I guess.”

“So, you, me, a rock n’ roll show? What do you say?”

“Sure, let’s go close out Ashley’s tour with her.”

“Awesome.” Jorey kissed Madison again. “So, what do you want to do for dinner? Because I was thinking about taking you to one of the family restaurants around here called Sutherland’s.”

“Sounds good to me. Why don’t you change and I’ll go grab my purse.”

“All right.” Jorey gave Madison one last kiss and then went farther into the bedroom to change.
