Home less or more – (Chapter: Chapter 2: Tough Kid)

Those eyes hunt me… I see them in my sleep. Never a face just her eyes… who is she? When I think of her I feel exited, no, it’s more than that, I feel… aroused? Why do I feel like this?! Frustrated I get out of bed to get a glass of water.

As I pour it I feel two hands hugging me from behind.

"What’s wrong?" he asks. I sigh and lean back into him.

"Is it about the baby?" I feel a kiss on my neck. What should I tell him ‘No it’s about that homeless girl we saw two days ago?’ I couldn’t even explain it to myself let alone him…

"Yes…" I finally say to get out of it.

"Hey…" he turns me to face him.

"You were the one who said a change was coming. You sounded so sure so it must be true, right?" I couldn’t help but smile at him. "Right."

"Are you coming to bed?" I kissed him "In a bit."

There were some old episodes of ‘The brady bunch’ and I remembered that family I saw the other day… Am I ready for this? Maybe we should stop trying and wait longer…

I must have drifted off to sleep because I saw her eyes again. This time I think I could see her hair sticking out of her hood, before I could see her face I heard knocking. I woke up with a jump. I saw the clock in the dim. It was three at night. ‘Who could it be?’ I heard the knock again. "I’m coming." Aiden was waking up muttering something.

As I opened the door something fall in. I was scared at first but then I heard a whimper and knew it was human. I turned the light on and saw the rags. I turned her around. These eyes… the eyes I have been dreaming about were staring back at me weakly. She was trying to say something but I couldn’t hear her so I got closer.

"No hospitals" I managed to hear. Then her eyes closed.

"What is going on?" Aiden was fully awake now. I couldn’t talk. It felt like a dream.

    "Spencer?" he asked more alarmed.

    1. This intrigues me. For now I can only say that I like how you have this starting from a place that isn’t often used in stories so I applaud you for that. PMASAP ^_^
