I Write Sins Not Tragedies – (Chapter: Spencer reflects)
“Actually, we’ve never tried that,” I confessed.
“What!?! Well, I’ll just have to show my sister a thing or two about getting things for free.”
“And which one of you is the lesbian?” I asked teasingly. This simply caused her to laugh.
“You thirsty?” she asked. Before I could respond, we made our way to the bar. She ordered two cokes, took out her flask, poured a good amount of liquid into each of our drinks, and then clinked our glasses together. “Cheers!” She exclaimed. “To a night of freedom!” We downed our drinks, and were quick to refill them.

It didn’t take long for us to get drunk. We weren’t outrageously plastered, but we were drunk enough. We danced the night away, sometimes dancing with strangers, but most of the time, dancing with each other. For some reason, I felt more comfortable dancing with her. She was just Kyla’s sister. She knew I was taken, and I knew she was with Aiden. This way, no boundaries would be crossed. I may have been taken, but I didn’t miss how nice her body felt against mine. The girl could dance! She moved her hip in sync with the music and kept her arms wrapped around mine. Part of me yelled that it was wrong to be grinding with the girlfriend’s sister, but that message was lost in my inebriated mind.
By the time we were done dancing, we weren’t drunk. We were pretty buzzed, but my thoughts were coming in more clearly. Not wanting to risk driving home and being pulled over, we called a taxi. She asked me if I wanted to go home, but I knew that if I did, I’d reek like alcohol. So I agreed to go back to her place.
We giggled like little girls as we tried to maneuver our way up the stairs without falling. And once we made it to the top, we collapsed to the ground, laughing hysterically. I can’t really remember why we were laughing so much, probably just because we’d been drinking.
“Well, you might as well sleep in Kyla’s room,” she informed me. “I’m sure she won’t mind.” I frowned a bit. Sleeping in Kyla’s room without Kyla was a bit more scary than when she was with me. Sleeping in that giant room alone frightened me, but I wasn’t sure if I was willing to admit that. Ashley sobered up a little at the look on my face.
