Midwest Transfer – (Chapter: 13-Goodbye Song)

Days passed. And then a week. It was over three weeks before Spencer would even speak to Jorey. But they managed to patch up their friendship. Ashley was also speaking to Jorey again. But Madison had still not said a word. Spencer and Ashley worked through it all. Spencer forgave Ashley.

Madison had missed a couple days of school since their fight. And Jorey had also taken a few not-so-sick days. Life was hell for Jorey. Despite the fact that she had patched her friendships up, she still felt like she was alone. After four weeks had passed Jorey finally made a decision. She was going back to Indiana for good. Nothing seemed to matter in L.A. anymore. She had to get away from the life that she had just built and ruined and make a new one back in her real home.

She told Ashley and Spencer first. Both of them were upset but they understood. Spencer shed a few tears, as did Ashley. Jorey meant a lot to the both of them. Even though the past couple of weeks had been all about forgiveness, they still loved her. Having a friend come into your life and then leave so soon was painful. But both of them gave Jorey their support.

    “Ash?”

“Yeah, what’s up?” Ashley was grabbing some books out of her locker. Spencer was waiting on her.

“Can I perform one goodbye song Friday during our set at Grey?”

“Sure what’d you have in mind?”

“Actually I wrote it. But I need your help to put some music with it.”

“Okay. Why don’t you just come over after school and we can work on it while Spence is working on her homework.”

“Sounds good by me. I’m skipping practice. I’m leaving Friday night after our set and they don’t have any games this week. So my season is finished.”

“That’s kind of sad.” Spencer said.

“Yeah, it is. Basketball is basically my life and I hate giving it up this year. But there’s always next year.” The bell rang, “Well I gotta get to class. I’ll catch up with the two of you after school.” Spencer and Ashley gave their waves and goodbyes and the three of them headed off their own ways.

    1. i might have gotten a litle more emotional if this story was about spencer and ashely, but it seems the whole thing turned into a madison and jorey thing. i dunno if thats so much for great reading.

    3. Smile_Sadly, the whole story did NOT turn in to Jorey and Madi. It would actually get boring if it did. This story was great and you just hate madi which is understandable. But heed spencers advice and FORGIVE :)
