Saving Grave. – (Chapter: Pictures And A Letter.)

"Who’s that mommy?"  Aiden asked pointing to the picture.  Spencer didn’t know what to say.

"Just an old friend hunny.  I found it when I was making room for your new toys in the closet."  She lied.

"She’s pretty."  Aiden said.  Spencer couldn’t get over how much he looked like the girl in the picture, but he was to young to see that.

Spencer sat there looking at the picture long after Aiden had went to sleep.  She knew there was something she had to do.  She pulled out the address, and she wrote it on another envelope.  She didn’t include a return address because there was a good chance that Ashley Davies wouldn’t want to open this.  The next day, she mailed the package.

    Ashley’s POV.

Ashley woke up around noon a few days later.  She ignored the blonde laying beside her in bed and went to get some aspirin.  Her head was on fire.

    "Morning baby."  The blonde said.

"Oh, hey.  There is money on the table for you the get a cab."  Ashley said.

"So that is how this is?"  She asked.

"Yes, do you want a cookie or something?"  Ashley said scarcatically.

"Fine."  The blonde grabbed the money and left.

She lay back down on her bed to let herself think.  Five years and three days ago her son had been born.  She knew when his birthday was.  She got him a present every single year.  She always just put them in the closet.  She thought about him a lot, and she thought about his new life.  There were times when she wanted to go to Virgin Records to find Spencer Carlin, but she knew she couldn’t.  No contact was to be made with the boy or Spencer until five years from now.  Ashley heard the mail being dropped off, and she went to get it.  There was a package with no return address on it.  She opened it, and she almost died seeing what was in it.

There were about twenty pictures of a little boy.  She knew exactly who it was when she looked.  It was Aiden.  Or, wait?  That probably wasn’t his name anymore.  There was a note with it.  She opened it slowly afraid about what it might say.
