Ashley hit him with her shoes.  “AIDEN!!”

“Just kiddin’ Ash!” he said laughing.  “One girl is enough for me.” Giving Kaylen a kiss on the cheek.

“Hey, our lane is this way ladies.” Aiden motioned with his head and started walking down to the darkened lanes.  The main lights were off and a bunch of black lights were on making everything glow. 

“Look!!” Kaylen said pointing at her head.  Her faux hawk was glowing an iridescent pink.  “The hair gel I used glows!”  She was wicked proud of herself.  I laughed at my awesome friend that always knew how to have a good time.

We decided to split the couples up for teams.  Then that would give us a good bowler on each team, since Ashley and I proclaimed to be bowling challenged.  Kaylen and Ashley were killing Aiden and I toward the end of the first game.

“I thought you said you didn’t know how to bowl?” I asked Ashley.  She just smiled and shrugged her shoulders.  I had been hussled.  Kaylen finished out the last frames by getting three strikes in a row.  She turned around after the last one and put on an air guitar show in celebration.  It had us all laughing hysterically.  She rushed back to the seats and gave Ashley a high five then they both turned around and shook their butts at us.

Aiden and I watched in appreciation. 

“If we get that show everytime we lose, we are going to be losing a lot tonight Spencer.” Aiden said to me.  I nodded in complete agreement.

“Ok losers you have to go buy us more beer!” Kaylen said turning around to us.  I shook my head and grabbed Aiden’s arm dragging him with me to go get beer.

Ashley’s POV:

Kaylen and I watched Spencer and Aiden walk off arm in arm.  I thought it was crazy that we were dating each others best friend.

“So how are things going with Aiden?” I asked Kaylen.  I watched the exuberant girl’s demeanor change rapidly to quiet and shy.

“He is really amazing Ashley….actually to be honest I am falling hard for him.” Kaylen said her green eyes dark with emotion.
