    Author Notes:

    So Spencer…I am Wonderin’.

    “Seriously she did threaten us!” Tara said “But there is no way this talented girl is going to mess up our song so we were all for it really.”

    Ashley smiled. “Thanks Tara. Ok right so onto the song and the reason I am up here.  I have been talking like mad cause I am nervous as hell.”  The crowd clapped with encouragement.  So did I.  I felt my stomach doing flops watching her on stage.

    “So the reason I am up here is that there is a girl….a totally amazing girl.” She said with a smile and looking right at me.  The crowd gave a bunch of oohs and ahhhs.  I felt my cheeks burn, but I couldn’t help but smile back.  A few people around me noticed that she was the one I was looking at.  I heard whispers of ‘awwhh’ and ‘how sweet’.   Ashley continued “Every time I am around this amazing girl I am at a loss for words and we both sort of skirt around a subject that I think we both want an answer to.  I am a puss and I figured the only way I would get the nerve is if I had a ton of people staring at me and putting me on the spot.” The crowed cheered and laughed. 

    Ashley cleared her throat slightly and continued.  Her voice was a little heavier and with more emotion. Tara and Margaret had started their intro into the song. “So Spencer…I am Wonderin’”  The crowed roared at the use of the song name she was going to sing.  I felt a chill run through me as she looked right at me and started to sing along with the slow sexy music.  It was one of my favorite songs by MAM and it was perfect.

     

    Thought I saw you lookin’ over at me

    Thought I saw you smile.

    Thought I felt my heart skippin’ a beat when you caught my eye.

     

    You know babe,  I’ve been so blue.

    Cause all I want baby is to talk to you.

     

    I felt my heart racing.  Her voice was sexy as hell and she was rocking this song. Her eyes were still glued to mine. Margaret and Tara joined her on the chorus.
