    Don’t be so sure of yourself there Ashley, your girlfriend just couldn’t wait to get her hands back on me!

    “SKANK, Shut your filthy mouth! Damn…I thought something smelled nasty when I stepped outside. Turns out it was just you.” Kaylen yelled loudly as she walked up to us.

    Jena rolled her eyes and turned to face her. Kaylen walked right up so that the only thing separating them was the long board Jena held in her hands.

    Ashley gasped and I knew why. Kaylen and Jena were mirror images. The only difference was the eye color. One was shooting green fire and the other was glaring back with blue ice. Identical twins. Well almost…save the medical marvel that kept doctors baffled at how they ended up with different color eyes.

    “Apparently you are choosing friendship over blood.” Jena said with a growl.

    Kaylen kept her eyes trained. “Well you made it pretty fucking easy to do Jena! Jesus, I love you and all, but you really fucked up. What happened to you? Sometimes I wonder how the hell we are related.”

    “Wow, thanks for the super sweet welcome back sis.” Jena spat. “I always knew you wanted to get in Spencer’s pants. So did you get enough while I was gone?”

    “Oh Shit!” I muttered. I knew what was coming and I couldn’t move fast enough to get between them. Kaylen’s hand moved hard and fast to come into contact with Jena’s check. Jena stepped back, dropping her long board and brought a hand to her the angry red welt that was rapidly forming. She had a stunned look on her face that was instantly replaced with rage. I made it to her quick enough to grab her wrists and I noticed that Ashley had Kaylen’s arms locked behind her back.

    “Whoa I think both of you need to calm down for a sec.” Ashley said.

    “Who the hell is she?” Jena asked once again.

    “She is my girlfriend, Ashley.” I said still holding Jena’s wrists. She looked at me with surprise.

    “So nice to meet the ex.” Ashley said sweetly sarcastic from behind Kaylen, still holding the other twins arms.

    “Don’t be so sure of yourself there Ashley, your girlfriend just couldn’t wait to get her hands back on me!” Jena shot back. I dropped her wrists and pushed her away from me giving her a look of disgust and disappointment. When had she become so jaded? Jena had the decency to look embarrassed.

    15. hey everyone! thanks for the great comments! i love the questions too because it shows you are really picking up the little details in the writing. Like Az asked…Why the heck didn’t Ashley think Jena was Kaylen? Maybe she did…but sometimes you just get stuck in a whirlwind situation and all reasonable thoughts leave you. Why the heck is spencer still hanging out with someone that that looks just like the girl that wrecked her? Does she hang out with Kaylen because they are truely friends or because Spencer can’t go? OH SO MANY QUESTIONS!! Hmmm the next post may answer some of this…ashspencefan…i couldn’t agree with you more…those ex’s are definitely ex’s for a reason!You guys rock!!
