“Listen Ash, I remember us saying we were going to be straight up with each other. I am totally ok with you not wanting to share things with me. I figure you will tell me when you are ready. Just don’t tell me you are ok, when I know you are not.” I said gently.
“I know. It’s just that I don’t want to tell sad stories and get us all out of the mood. Cause I really like the idea of where this evening is headed.” She said softly.
“Believe me; I would love nothing more than to finish getting you out of these wet clothes and rush you up to my loft for what I am positive would be some mind blowing sex. But I really like you Ashley and if that means we have to hear our sad stories to make this feel right then that’s what I want to do.”
She nodded.
“So do you want to tell me about this?” I asked gently kissing her scar. “And how it hurt these two places.” I said simultaneously touching over her heart and her head with my hands.”
“Yeah I think I do.” She said.
“Good” I said and gave her a gentle kiss. I helped her slide of her wet jeans so that she was just in her bra and underwear. I was struggling.
“Ok, you can’t take the rest of your clothes off in front of me right now.” I said in a strained voice.
She laughed. “Ok fair enough.”
“Uh, towels are in the bathroom top shelf. I will bring you down some dry clothes to change into.” I said as she walked across the living room.
She turned as she got to the bathroom door. “Thank you Spencer, for being so understanding.”
I nodded as she closed the door. I sprinted up to the loft and grabbed some shorts and a t-shirt for me. I wasn’t sure what she would want so I picked out a pair of shorts, sweats, a t-shirt, a tank and a hoody so that she could pick and choose.
I knocked on the bathroom door. “Hey Ashley, I am leaving some clothes at the door for you. I am going to run over to my grandma’s and borrow her shower so take your time ok.”
