Spencer and I have been living in perfect bliss for the last two weeks.  We kiss when we wake up.  We get ready together.  I go to the record company.  She goes to work.  We get home at the same time.  We eat dinner together.  We make love.  We fall asleep in each other’s arms.  It’s so perfect, and I can’t help but wonder if it would have always been like this.  No matter what I can’t forget how many years we wasted not being together.  God, I love her.  I know I want to spend the rest of my life with her.  I can’t help but feel like this is too perfect.  Spencer and I being happy doesn’t really happen expecially us being happy together.  I guess I’m bracing myself for when it all comes crashing down.

"Hey baby."  My gorgeous blonde says walking into the living room.

"Hey."  I say planting a kiss on her lips.

"You think you can live a weekend without me?"  She asks.

"No."  I say not knowing where this was going.

She just gives me a look.  "Look, I had this friend in college, Justin.  He was always there for me when I was so heartbroken over you.  We’ll, his Mom is really sick.  He also has a little brother to take care of, and he was wondering if I could come down to watch his brother this weekend."  She says slowly.

"And, why can’t he watch his brother?"  I ask.

"His Mom is having surgery on Saturday.  He just wants me to come for Saturday, and I’ll be coming back Sunday."  She says again.

"You want me to be ok with you going to stay with some guy that I don’t know that is probably in love with you?"  I ask in disbelief.

"Ash, he’s gay."  She says grinning a little.

"Oh.  In that case, of course baby.  I know you need to be there for your friend."  I say.

"Thanks.  I knew you’d understand."  She kisses me on the cheek before she goes back into the bedroom.

We’ll that is no good.  Now I have to spend Saturday without Spencer.  I could call a friend, but I kind of don’t have any.  Spencer’s all I’ve got.  Since I quit the being famous thing I’ve lost anyone and everyone that I thought I had to start with.  So, it’s Saturday, and Spencer is getting ready to leave.
