That Girl. – (Chapter: Playdate For The Future.)

Summer.  Can you believe it?  It was now just a week into summer, and my little girl was already done with her first year of school.  To say that it flew by would be the biggest understatment of my life.  It was like I blinked on the first day of school, and it was the last.  To say Taylor wasn’t a hand full would have been another terrible understatement.  She did so well in school.  That is why she never really got in that much trouble.  But, she was Ashley Davies’ kid.  So, there had to be some crazy stuff going on there.  Taylor got in trouble almost every day of school for talking to Samantha during class.  She was young and in love, and Ashley and I both realized that quickly.

The phone rang off the hook every single night for Taylor.  Boys and girls a like called wanting to speak to Taylor.  Every single time the phone rang, Taylor would run to it to answer it.  When she realized who it was, she always looked disappointed.  It took Ashley and I a while to figure out why.  It wasn’t Samantha that was calling, but Taylor never wanted to talk about it.

"Did you have all these people calling you in kindergarden, Spence?"  Ashley asked telling yet another person that Taylor had gone to the water park with Ashley’s old drummer.  He wanted to get to know the kid.

"I did actually.  They were all boys though."  Spencer said smiling at Ashley.

"How old were you when you had your first kiss?"  Ashley asked.

"My first like lip on lip kiss I was like six actually.  But, my first like actual kiss with someone that I liked wasn’t until I was fifteen."  Spencer said.

"So, both of those were boys?"  Ashley asked.

"Actually, no."  Spencer said blushing.  "The first one was my friend Ally.  We saw other people doing it, and we wanted to see what it was like.  We were still in that "boys are gross" stage.  So, we decided to kiss each other."  Spencer said laughing.

    "And?"  Ashley asked.

"Now Ally is married to a guy named Justin with six kids.  I haven’t seen her in like four years.  The last time I did was when she got married."  Spencer said.

    1. I’m skipping ahead a few chapter because I can’t get into the 6-year old. I’m around a lot of kindergärtners due to my grandmother and I’ve never heard one speak like this and their in private school.
