The King High Killer – (Chapter: Chapter 13, Friday the Thirteenth; Halloween)
This room appeared to be the biggest of all, again pitch black, but the brunette could sense its size as she crept forward. Holding the pot and cell phone out in front of her, Ashley took one step at a time until she was sure her eyes weren’t playing tricks on her. “Spencer!” Ashley lunged forward until she was huddled around Spencer’s shaking body, clinging to the blonde as though her life depended on it.
Ashley’s eyes adjusted slightly to the darkness as she cupped Spencer’s face in her hands, her cell and the pot lying forgotten on the floor as she openly sobbed as she held Spencer close. Her blue eyes were wide open in terror, but Ashley saw none of that—far too pleased that those beautiful eyes were open at all.
“I’m here, Spencer, I’m here, it’s okay, it’s okay.” Ashley cried, pulling Spencer close to her as she kissed the blonde’s cheeks, forehead, eyelids, and hair, over and over again as she sobbed.
Spencer was shaking her head, mumbling through the tape on her lips as she tried to warn Ashley. But the brunette couldn’t hear a thing over her own tears, too busy wiping away Spencer’s and holding her close to her body trying to convince herself that the blonde was real. She didn’t hear anything until the scream.
Both Ashley and Spencer jumped at the loud cry and Ashley instinctively gripped the blonde tighter to her at the sound of a door slamming. Spencer’s mumbling increased its volume until Ashley quickly but carefully removed the tape from the blonde’s lips. “Spencer we got to get out of here! Who’s doing this?!”
“N-no i-idea.” Spencer croaked out, her voice horse from screaming all night and rough from lack of water.
“I’m going to get you out of here.” Ashley mumbled quickly, her trembling hands fumbling with the ropes that bound Spencer, only vaguely aware that she was still crying and that her heart was pounding painfully against its cage.
“Ash-Ash” Spencer kept mumbling, barely able to hold her head up and completely disoriented. She was distantly aware that Ashley was holding her—that the brunette was there at all. She could feel the warmth of her body but the knot on the back of her head was making everything fuzzy and she had to blink several times to be able to see the form in front of her. But she could smell Ashley. She knew that scent well. Through her panic she felt waves of comfort and she kept nuzzling any skin of Ashley’s she could touch to solidify the reassurance. But she was also petrified that the brunette was there. She kept trying to tell Ashley to leave, to run, to forget about her, but the words wouldn’t form on her dry lips and throat felt like sandpaper and her tongue felt light a dead weight in her mouth.

DUDE. I checked this site obsessively all damn day yesterday! Nice ending, super epic. I like that it was 31 days too. SHIT that was awesome. New story soon mk? My 2 suggestions are as follows: not a year long and ummm more sex. KTHXBYE!
PAGES! Not days. Sorry, the epicness of the story has got me all befuddled.
I am literally physically exhausted from reading these last 3 chapters. So much excitement and drama. I knew it was Marie, the Glen and Kyla part threw me for a whirl but I knew Marie was behind it. This story was amazing and kept you guessing from beginning to end. The love and devotion that Spencer and Ashley had for each other was amazing. Marie was the perfect villan. The only part that made me think that it wasn’t her for a minute was when she was showing ginuwine concern for Ashley. This was an intense read from beginning to end and it sucks that so many people were killed because one woman was so sick in the head that she plotted the murders of so many teens. Gays, outcasts, and a single mother, and a kitchen worker who was friends with Ashley. You are an amazing writer. I would pay to read your work any day. I adored this story even in all the craziness that occured. This was a job well done.
PS woah I was watching last week’s episode of House and BAM there’s Gabrielle Christian as a special guest. Haven’t seen her in any tv since South and I had been picturing her all afternoon while reading your story and then there she is! So unexpected!
